Which items should be gone forever?
#21
Low level etc that isn't used for quests and that can't be used to Maker into Monster Crystals. Back when I was new playing, I would pick up EVERYTHING in case I might need it later. And of course, some of those monster drops were never used at all.

The 7th Day Market quest after completing it the FIRST time :v

@Kalovale
That weapon needs to do a horrible, horrible death in fire. 5xx att really?? :[

Gach-only items :c

Have you ever seen the video of the guy with such hi-def armor that he could afk in skelegons? It's amazing. Sure he suffers a bit in damage compared to people who like statless gear -coughblainecough-, but it'd be fun to fu'ck around with. Considering how cheap the def scrolls are. I still hoard crap scrolls for dummy scrolling and lulz scrolling (lol+7 10% mallet).i

I love the Japan themed areas for that reason. Items normally from gach only can drop from mobs. Although if i recall when GMS had gotten the Mushroom Shrine these sort of drops were taken away from the mobs for some reason. I suppose they were too lazy to do this with any further expansion.

I use them all the time and see them sold all the time...no idea what you're talking about.

Cash Shop. The game would be very interesting without it.

That's partly due to potential, partly due to BB changes. In the current game (pre-BB) there's a 1999 wdef cap, which isn't even enough to make Skeles do under 2k damage when buffed.

For example my Paladin is going to have roughly 5500 wdef post-BB, compared to the current ~600 wdef.

Post-BB, percent str armor (on warriors) is almost as good as percent wdef. Both massively overshadow normal wdef scrolls.

Like, for example, my gear adds 24% str. Post-BB that's +250 wdef. The best you can do with regular wdef scrolls (+9 10% on top, bottom, helm, cape) is roughly 120 wdef.

According to Fiel's calculator, you would need 12184 defence to reduce skelagon damage to 1 (def gets divided by 4 before its subtracted). I don't understand how that is possible, even if you had 2000 str and 200% potential, it wouldn't be half enough.

Miracle cubes. Potential system would be a superb idea without them.

Agreed. I'm still able to sell the ones I get from quests - not everyone is in a family, may not have enough rep to teleport or used it already. Plus, ever since potentials came out, it's one of the few items I'm still able to sell... :v

I like the cube idea, though it should be much cheaper, and the bonuses should not have been so massive. The whole 2 or 3 line deal pisses me off the most.

Potential would be pointless without cubes. The odds of a useful potential showing up at first magnify are so low, those equips would be too expensive for anyone normal to get.
However, cubes should drop from mobs. (or we should get the ability to sell cash shop items in FM, already)

That's in GMS, in KMS i've seen many people posting equips that came out already unique and/or with good bonuses.

I ment I like the whole cube thing, not that I support MorbidMagus in taking them away. Sorry for being unclear.

this should be removed for being suggestive:

If this counts as an item, the quest lightbulb. At least make it go away after clicking 'decline.'

But in GMS even if someone got it on the first glass, no-one would believe them anyway

Shield Mastery is a 200% wdef buff, dropping that to 4060 def. A decently equipped (HTP + CZak + Shield) Paladin has 900+ wdef, lowering it to 3250 def or so. Dex/luk/int add about 0.4-0.5 wdef each, so if you have 60 of 2 and 120 of the other, that's another 100 def. 3150 def from str is only 2625 str, which is pretty reasonable...

I have no idea where %wdef fits into this post-BB, but if it applies after base stats and stuff are added up, and they have 40% or so, then 4060 def drops to 2900, 2000 without gear, 1900 without secondary stats, for about 1600 total str.

40% def 60%~ str is not that hard to get to. 140% str to do it on str alone might be expensive.

Forging manuals. Who still uses them? Would also like the lame weak beginner equipment like Ice Jeans be changed into something better.

Ice Jeans?! Grey Sweatpants?! Orange Sporty T-Shirt?! Blue One-Lined T-Shirt?!

I think these items are useful for people who are scrolling tops/bottoms for classes who dont have them (Mages/Pirates/Bowmen)
