Being in a relationship at that age is bad? Or do you mean a real actual relationship? (Can kids even have those?) I know when I was younger I had many "relationships" where we always hung out most of the time and we thought we were together.

8 year olds having real actual relationships is impossible, so I don't know. Because it's not bad either.

when i was still in high school, there were stories of 6th and 7th grade girls throwing "rainbow parties" where they would invite a (few) boy(s) over, and proceed to color rings around *omitted* and then proceed to *omitted*.
this was in 11th grade, and i was ~16/17 years old, depending on the month.
if you really want a better grasp: my sister is 9 and is watching teenNick. sh'it like Degrassi and Big Time, as well as those Disney abominations they showed aimed at preteens.
innocence is shrinking, and the age of it is slowly dying.

I somehow keep my childhood innocence even though I don't use it all the time, I can use it whenever I want to however.

look at the era you were born in, and the era you were raised in.
now look at the current generation of 4-14 year olds; post 9-11.

Point made. But there are still some people of that age frame that haven't fallen into whatever those kids have fallen into.

With the advent of the internet, more younger kids are being exposed to things that force them to mature at a much faster rate than previous generations. It's a sad thing. They see love on the internet and decide that they, in fact, are in a very twisted, but what they think, love.[/COLOR]

I agree with you completely. However, there is always an outlier.

Are you implying cancer is a horrible thing? Because it's a totally awesome thing, it kills people.
