Big Bang Trailer!

Bomber Wrote:But just because it makes good profit doesn't mean the company is doing what's right. Is that what you meant in the last paragraph(which I cut out)?

Correct. Looks like everyone understands except our favorite Nexon apologist.

Chameleonic Wrote:Companies publicly listed on the stock exchange do that to keep confidence in their shares and their share prices up. Privately owned companies like Nexon have no need to do that, most prefer to keep their profits private. I dare say Nexon is doing much better than anyone thinks...

I'm not going to repeat what I already said. I covered what you could have already.

that article Wrote:MapleStory was always the epitome of “cute” but with The Big Bang! the graphics have a painted effect that gives it a 3-D feel although it remains a 2-D side-scroller and platformer. Backgrounds fade back, important elements pop and foreground elements such as environmental effects like mist and vegetation float in front of your character.

can anyone confirm this? i didn't notice any real differences besides the resolution change.

It isn't really true. New resolution = smaller objects = crisper pixellation.

That was just a shift in art styles over time. Compare Henesys or Kerning City to any new area and you can see how different they are.

Owned! They used Luna Online for a Maplestory banner! XD

Did I mention that the screenshots they included have NOTHING to do with Big Bang?

Just so were clear I enjoy reading your posts and I just want to clarify your view of gunbound vs Maple.

Now your comparison of the whole money leading, rather entitling users an advantage, maplestory's advantage benefits only self satisfaction. It's like cheating on super nintendo. I'm somewhat glad they have such a route where I could just throw $100 down and I'm instant set. Now the cubes really were overkill and I dont agree with, it really costs too much to obtain the stats you want without splurging thousands of dollars or MTS merchanting. Either way time is money and both are required to be successful in maplestory. Now your view of successful to mine are probably vastly different. I believe "success" is obtaining any goal that you wish to obtain. If I want X amount of range, no matter if it's below or average, I will obtain it. Now no one can seriously argue the NX advantage that nexon essentiall allow's, but I can argue the use of prepaid gamepoints between gunbound and maple are in fact different. Gunbound is a PVP, such competition will discourage players if a 2 year old can get a 328947307324 missle shooting launcher that hits all but 80 pixels on your screen, which you have to pay to upgrade. It's discouraging losing to someone who simply has more money than you, compared to games like COD which takes skill or hacking(hopefully delt with appropriately). That's why gunbound died.

Although maplestory has it's own "PVP" in terms of comparing, gear and boss times, it's not something that would discourage a player enough to quit. Now dc hacking and illegit programs to litterally cripple the game at it's very foundation is another story. Also Nexon is a little smarter by doing these nx items in sort of an event type format. If pam songs were still available white scrolls would be dead, if 50% scrolls were still available, who would use other scrolls?

Although there is a gap between funded and unfunded, the difference doesn't nerf general gameplay, while NX enhances a characer, gunbounds points godmoded them.

Except it is completely irrelevant in regards to Nexon as I said... As this link shows. http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/n...crease-28/ Sixteenth months of increased revenue...they are in a league of their own.

GMs always release random screenshots of themselves dicking around when they get an interview of some sort.
