Since the beginning. Someone has posted a SS of a VIP necklace somewhere in SP, and it did say level requirement was 145.

And a side note: While its deficient in terms of HP/MP boost (has none of that in its normal stats), a nicely potentialed VIP necklace will blow a MoN out of the water.

MoN sucks. A regular HTP is better if you can get 3% stat on it. CHTPs are better than VIP necklaces, but VIP necklaces do have the advantage of being tradeable. I'm sticking with my CHTP for the 40+ luk it provides.

+40 CHTPs already annihilate MoNs to no end when potentialed. I'm pretty sure a VIP Necklace would have to 12/8/8 or maybe even possibly 12/12/8 to beat a 3line CHTP.

About pendants:
Being a Night Lord, I had to get 6% LUK on the HT necklace before it won over a 12 att MoN. Then I got a chaos HT necklace. There can be no question though, If you use cubes the MoN is the worst of the 4 top tier pendants

Hmm seems fun it does. How do you go about that as a duo? Warrior with enough HP to tank and the Night Lord staying safe and sound while throwing stars to his hearts content? Or is it simply a matter of pinning him?

Well chuffed, only took 25 cubes as well. They add a total 802 HP when equipped. x_x

I can only afford the MoN cause i don't have the stats to CHT or HT AND i don't have the money to get anything else other than the MoN. The 300+ HP also does a hell of a lot for me, but the 10% HP would inevitably add more if i could afford it

I guess i'll wait till i can VIP pq with my cousins and then we can try to get necklaces and potential the crap out of them until i get 12% stat and 10-12% hp =(

considering the average perfect you'd get

30/30/30/30, 2 WA/MA, 10% hp/mp VS 7% to a stat

Consider a level 200 with 999, you get 70 stats (rounded up to make it simpler)

Meaning that 2 WA [in most cases] needs to compare to +40 AP stat. So you gotta chaos it to be better. But that 10% hp is pretty nice, especially with massive defs and avoids (You get about 100 defs and 30 more avoid than a vip necklace).

Personally I'd prefer c-htp due to the hp since the damage difference isn't too huge, maybe like 3-4 attack. And the fact the only 3-stat vip necklace in bello atm is c/o'd astronomically high

We had some close calls but it's rather easy, the BM has a range where he usually won't get stunned at all and if anything happens I just just jump over and lure it back to the righrt side. But overall I just sit by the window and jump attack until BGB.

When comparing +atk to +stats you might want to include MW20 or maybe 30, and other gear... with my MoN I'll have 1270 str when I hit 200, so I get 89 str from 7%. But the CHTP pushes that up to over 1300 str so it compounds with all my other percent gear. (30 extra str could be worth like 60-80 if you have nice gear).

Oh yea, forgot that it wasn't just base. So 3 stat vip necklace could be much better then except it doesn't give the % hp bonus
