You read over the letter a second time, and think of who would be interested in the book your grandfather left you. It is an old book, the binding is starting to fall apart, and the cover has been torn, and there appears to be stains on it. The name of the book has long since worn away from both the front and side of the book.

You sit down at your desk, get out your pen and a piece of paper, and begin to write a letter to the people who sent you this notice. Halfway through, your family's butler enters into the room and inspects the envelope. He then walks over and informs you that the address is an obvious lie.

You stop writing mid-sentence, and stare blankly at the lengthy response you just wrote out. That such a simple detail could go unnoticed by you baffles you.

"Of course sir." Your butler Morgan hands you the envelope, and you take it with you to your computer. You go onto an online search engine and, after typing in the address into the Googal search bar, no results turn up for a '123 Fourtyfifth Street, Calcutta RI, 02678.'

You continue to search online for any other places with that address, and still nothing turns up. Your stomach rumbling, and no clues as to what or who sent you that letter and why, you try to think of something else to do to try and find a lead.

You decide that looking up and pertinent information on the book would prove a more worthwhile endeavor instead of doing something trivial like looking up internet pornography. You go over to your desk and open up the cover of your grandfathers book. Inside the book on the top corner of the first page, you see scrawled out in faded ink your grandfathers signature. Underneath of his name, there is a list of several others, some impossible to read, and some with lines crossing them out. Of them, the latest entry is your own name.

Above your name there is also another entry, but it is hard to make out what the name reads. It looks like it starts with the letter D.

After opening the book to the table of contents, you see that the book is written in a foreign language past the foreword, so trying to read the book is not an option.

You think of all the things you know of your grandfather, and you realize you know nearly nothing about him. You ask Morgan if he knows anything about your grandfather that would be able to help you with your investigation, but he knows very little about his life outside of his manor. You decide to enter his name into Googal, but the only things that return from entering his name are several pages of other people that share his name. The only information about your grandfather that you can find is a list that shows what high school he graduated to.
