Generally speaking the kilogram is independent of gravity - it's a unit of mass, not of force, so it's constant. If you could buy gold in Newtons you'd be golden.

For a more obvious explanation of why it's stupid - you'd have to exert enough force to move your body upward at the same speed as the plane is falling. Whether you push against the plane to do this 3 feet off the ground, or whether you do it when you hit the ground, you need the same amount of force to come to a stop.

If you could jump that hard it wouldn't be a problem anyway cause you wouldn't hurt yourself landing...

The magnet thing doesn't work because the body with the magnet and the other attracted entity are both connected to the same body. The bullet trains in Japan aren't like that, instead the trains are independent of the rails.

Many issues here:

The plane's vertical acceleration is higher than yours, thus you'd never be able to jump off that thing unless you hold onto it. But if you hold onto it, your speed will increase.
When the mass to the object you jump from is so small (compared to the earth's), the 3rd law of Newton comes into effect.
As earlier said, the reference system is critical here.

For the light thingy:
Quantum Physics fucks it all up.
No possibility for parallel mirrors.
No element has an albedo on 1.

How fast does kinetic energy move? I wondered about that stick thing a few years ago....

Even though it's quite a bit out of the scope of my knowledge, thinking rationally, the transfer of the kinetic in this case happens simultaneously among multiple atoms, whilst light energy transfers through space via the same exact photons.
The problem is, though, if the displacement of the googolians of atoms of that stick does not happen simultaneously, it would take an equally long time for your poke to be felt. I just don't see why it should not happen simultaneously.

Assuming a 1 lightyear long stick could even be conceivable, how would anyone hold it, poke with it or be far enough away to be poked by it? How do you poke that accurately with a stick thousands of times longer than the distance from the earth to the sun?
