What Chameleonic said. Theres no proof that Big Bang is next patch. We have more proof that Ulu City is next than we do Big Bang. With Ulu we have a date set when you try to enter it. With Big Bang was do not. Don't count your victory yet and if it's in December or January you should make a patch saying your wrong

I'm thinking November/December still. The idea is, what does Nexon America consider "soon"? Soon to me, is 1-3 months. Soon to Nexon, can mean quite a lot. That notice just lets us know that Big Bang is coming "soon". So no real definitive date yet.

I also voted "other" and asked for Vista/7 and x64 compatibility.

Fun speculation: KMS had this same poll one month before BB went live (poll started on June 10th and patched on July 8th). This poll started today, October 5th, and our next patch is November 3rd (or whatever day it says on the Ulu City portal).

Lol the top picked option is a joke, as if leveling isn't fast now haha. It seems the lowest voted options are the ones that would be the most useful. Personally besides win vista/7 compatibility, a decent leveling system through questing would be great, would reduce a lot of the tediousness of the game, even if it helped you get from 1st to 4th job, the grind from 4th job up is something i never really minded, having a good set of skills already to train.

I don't get the people saying we are not gonna get it for the next patch due to Ulu city, who says Ulu city is not already patched? Which would mean that even with a small (8 hours small) server check it could be added (maybe even the halloween event too), so even that I have a bit of doubt they will release it next, they do have enough time between the end of that poll (October 20) and the probable next patch (November 3rd) to advertise it and maybe even a pre-event.

Because it's not the first time Nexon has fully added something to the data and then only released that thing the following patch.

I don't think we'll be getting BB for several patches yet. The data between pre-BB and post-BB is incompatible. So if they move to BB, they lose out on content they could possibly add beforehand and then make that data compatible with BB during the update. According to research, most of the updating is done by using a formula given that HP/EXP values are highly linear. Also, notice that KMS has not added any areas which are available pre-BB after BB.

I think Nexon is going to go for several more months of content and hype for BB so they can get all of the content possible before it goes out of style. Notice that Nexon took the odd turn of getting one thing in line with BB coming out soon (Hoblin) and another section of data that's really old (Kaede). Ulu City and any other non-BB expansions are viable.

Even if they go for a bit adding everything that hasn't been added to maple before BB I don't think they can survive a lot of time like this, since theres a big amount of players (old and new) that aren't playing maple till BB comes, which in my opinion nexon doesn't like and know that BB will raise the amount of players.

September and October are wasted months for Nexon. Always have been slow, always will be slow. Too many kids start school and promise that they will do better this semester which only lasts for a short amount of time until they get into a groove. Things really start to pick up for Nexon around Thanksgiving or so. That's when it picks up here anyway.
