~Post Big bang: +2 All Skills VS % Stat on a Helmet~
Thoughts, opinions, or ideas on how valuable +2 to all skills will be after big bang?
From a heros perspective that's
[Combat Mastery] 40%--->48% Ignoring of Targets Defense (Combat Mastery)
[MW 30] 15%--->16% (Mw 30) APPX 25 STR MORE This skill alone is practically a 3% boost.
[Stance] 90%--->94% Chance to not be moved = higher DPS
[Brave Slash] 210-->214% Basic Attack +14% Damage
[Enrage] 60--->64% Raises damage on a single target by 4%
To make it clearer the:
+2 Helmet skill = 8% less weapon defense on mobs, +3% STR, 18% damage (Brave Slash + Enrage).
VS
21% Helmet ---->12% STR Helmet (Subtracted 6% STR since I assume at least one of the 3 lines on the +2 Skill helmet will be at least 6% STR and subtracted 3% more str from the built in extra point from aforementioned helmet's MW 32.
So really the question is does 12% more str (appx 12 weapon att) overpower the added DPS from the 18% extra damage + the lessened mob defense?

when i had +1 all skills on my equip, it added 1 to all the skills i had that were not maxed they showed a +1 beside them. The other skills did not show the +1. Is it possible to get past the max? I guess MW would be the easiest to test it with.

The +1 beyond max only applies post Big Bang. Right now it only increases in level if it's allotted to.

+2 all is way better. I had +1 on some earrings in kmst and the boost was insane.

Your math is way off.
Combat Mastery 40%->48%:
+0.85% damage on 10% defense monster
+2.35% damage on 25% defense monster (most bosses)
+9.66% damage on 70% defense monster (PB)
No idea how you got 3% damage from 15%->16%. MW 32 vs MW 30 is about +0.87% damage with no equips. With +150 STR at level 200 it's about +0.76% damage.
Brave Slash 210%->214%: +1.90% damage
Enrage 60%->64%: +2.50% damage
Totals:
+6.14% damage on regular monsters
+7.71% damage on most bosses
+15.41% damage on PB
The amount of damage 12% str adds is 12% if you have no other +% str gear. The more you have, the less it's worth. If you already have +100% str, 12% more str is +6% damage. 1% str should be worth closer to 2 attack than 1, though.
Also keep in mind that partying with a Paladin (which should be a somewhat popular class now) always makes the +% str gear better, assuming the skill cap is +2.

Just wanting to say that 103%*1.15 > 100%*1.18.
Since MW is way beyond the threshold of Potential % bonus most Maplers can get, 3% more into MW is worth less than 3% more into your potentials. Vice versa if you have more than 115% potential bonus.

Yeah, but the boost only applied to skills that weren't maxed, unfortunately. On maxed skills, it did nothing, so it requires your skills to not be maxed in order for the +x All Skills effect to take place. At least, that's how it worked in KMST.

But we never had combat orders. It's fully possible that characters can only break the skill limit when given CO, where if you have +2 to all skills before CO, you'll have +4 above max level with CO.
That'd be pretty balanced imo. Combat orders on a hat is pretty over the top.

question - I know CO's boost only affects 4th job skills, but does equip +1/+2 affect all skills? In other words, post BB would a +2 hat also affect 1st/2nd/3rd job skills ( in particular - mastery, crit, HP increase, etc).

you said you got +1 to all skills on earrings - did you find those or did you buy those? if bought for how much? im curious as to how common such earrings would be. also - i assume it was on 71+ earrings? cause if so it seems to make a lot more sense to cube the hoblin PQ earrings after BB for said buff.

Commonality shouldn't be derived from a KMST stand point. I bought the earrings for 9m. Cubes cost 1 NX in KMST.

im aware they cost less, and overtime that makes a big difference. but what i was looking for was whether they even *seem* feasable for most characters. at 9m it makes me think that you got +1 on rare earrings as opposed to uniques. but if its unques only then i can imagine it going for 200m in GMS easily, if not way more.

Does anyone know what's the cap on the all skills bonuses or is there none? And do they increase blessings too, I know they used to but then taken off again, but what's the final verdict in the real KMS server now? Will having a +2 and +1 all skills stack, because I actually saved a chaos zhelm in case it does. What other pieces of equipment boost all skills now in KMS?
