Big-Bang pirate HP
#1
So lets say I maxed the hp improvement skill at 6x and missed out on a lot of HP. Would big bang fix that?

It's +10% HP, so take that as you will.
Those who maxed HP Improvement would still have higher HP than you, but your base in general would be higher.

I really want to know what happens to the HP of current Corsairs. Since their natural HP growth is being upgraded, will their current base HP be updated to compensate? Or are high level Corsairs just shit out of luck for all that HP? Someone should tell me what happens (especially Dusk, since he didn't wash) about that.

Expectation: Nexon won't change people's current HP because Nexon doesn't understand or care.

Isn't the HP increase the same, it's just the +10% HP is essentially a passive hyper body? I'm pretty sure that just makes it so if a gunslinger gained 20 HP per level up with this skill it's 22 HP.

If that happens what reason do players have to keep going? by the before\after video in youtube - no passive increase.

I thought the only thing Corsairs got was +600 HP on Battleship..maybe better HP increase from level 30 but nothing else that I know of

HP Increase was only changed for Buccs and warriors, so that the HP increase comes with the job, instead of being a skill. So for warriors, new warriors will have a little more HP than old ones, only because they have the max HP increase from level 10, while old ones have it at max from 13-14. Pretty sure no other class's HP increase was changed.

As for the question at hand, A buccaneer who doesn't max HP Increase until 6x will not be given all the HP he missed out on by not maxing the skill first.

This is correct.

Your base stays the same.

Didn't Dusk confirm that the natural growth remained unchanged?

Furthermore, according to the code Fiel discovered, and posted in this thread, the IncHPVal, or value per AP added for pirates is 18, which is exactly what it was before BB.

So unless someone can offer evidence that a gunslinger's HP growth has been changed, it's pretty safe to conclude that a pre-BB Corsair will have no disadvantages over a post-BB one.

This is proof yes? This is my character that I made by myself with no washing or anything weird, and I believe it had ~80 HP from HP gear + medal.

Compare to...

In which my only HP gear was 100 from that one star pendant.

The above shows that we should halt all leveling until we get BB so we can has more HP then right? o_o

Was that KMST or KMS? I think Gunslinger HP gain was glitched to reflect the HP increase of Brawlers for a time in KMST. I could try levelling a gunslinger past 30 in KMS if I get the time.

Well...that's quite a marked difference in HP :f6:

I guess I shouldn't care either way since there's no way in hell I'd remake from 170+ for 1-2k more HP...

KMST, during that period of time we were all using Mazz's account. It may have been glitched, but I've never heard of that. Lets go with the "wait and see" thing.

Quick clarification because I'm unsure: Let's say that there is a brawler level 50 with the current hp increase skill. After BB, another brawler is created and leveled to 50. Both brawlers get the new hp increase skill. Which brawler would have more hp?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: nvm about what I said, I calculated my corsairs hp at lvl 50 and it looked something like 1700 after taking away 24 hp per lvl and 18 hp per wash.

but what if i made a captain before BB patch and it has (ASSUME) 1.5kHP and Lv50
After BB patch , will the HP be increased to the proper amount as the new HP Formula applied?

The old one will have more because he benefited from having 20 levels of old HP Increase plus the %HP from the new HP Increase, whereas the new one will have the base HP with the %HP. Unless the HP/level was raised to reflect what the old Infighters gained with the old HP Increase.

The HP increase upon level up was changed to reflect the removal of the skill. Old Buccs will have sligthly less HP compared to new ones.
