Rex's Hyena mount

Heyhey,

I've searched on various fora for an answer to this question, but i've been unable to find one.
Therefor I thought I'd post the question here, since someone might be able to answer my question through data extractions.

How do you get Rex's Hyena mount? The sadle drops from him, but does he also drop the mount? or is there a quest that doesn't work atm, to get it?

So no one at all has a Hyena mount in KMS that anyone is aware of? It mustn't be obtainable then...

Since the data was already stuck into the game for the shammos boss previously, does anyone have a past extraction or know which patch stuck the boss in? If we have data on that couldn't somebody just bring up a drop list for that boss? What we have thats new are the kaede castle mobs but the hob pq mobs are actually old data from before that was only released to us in this patch.

I saw the mount drop today.

Rex died immediately after he pushed us all away, which resulted in an ultimate fail: some guy had a pet with wing boots.

No screenshot though so i don't really believe it but maybe its true... To bad he didnt SS. >_<
I'd love to try to get it myself but since i have this epic lag i cant do anything at the moment.

Also some guy mentioned the saddle has a drop rate of 60%/80%? and the mount has a 10% drop? but his sounds really unreal because... How the heck would he know?

Nada. I checked the extractions all the way back to 0.75 on here and couldn't find when Rex got added to the data.

Rex was added into the data back around v.88~v.89. Him and his entire PQ were altered from a group of colorful snails that spawned one another originally part of the Goldrich maze which apparently never made it into any game client, for now at least.


This guy and a few others turned into a bunch of ugly trolls and hobs.

LOL @ at the snail, but were the names changed or stayed the same back then?

They changed when v.90 came around. The old string I believe was Transforming <COLOR> Snail of the Maze or something of the kind.

We had a Goldrich event where we had to collect 20 N, E, W and S from normal monsters and get a compass which we use to transport to one of 12 different maps (based on your level) where you kill a bunch of pigs to get eggs (which gave mastery books and such). Is this the event in question?

We also have the glitch snails in our monster books as well (something lime denden).
