Unscheduled Server Update – 09.30.2010

Attention Maplers!

We will be having a minor update tonight for all MapleStory servers to resolve an issue in v.90. We will be resolving the issue with monsters not dealing damage. This resolution will require players to download a few files when the update is completed. Also, Ninja Castle disconnects has been fixed as of last night, September 29.

The update will take approximately 4 hours.

-Time-
Pacific: Thursday, September 30th, 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
Eastern: Friday, October 1st, 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM.

-What-
-All MapleStory servers will be unavailable.

Major lag last night must have been from that.

Everyone please go support this thread: http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums...px#5862365 in order to try and get it fixed during tonight's patch. Just keep it active so they see it; they know how to fix it and can easily do so as long as they're aware of the issue.

my guess is they either don't know how to word sentences and they're fixing it tonight, or they don't actually go test it themselves to see if its actually fixed

OR it means it WAS fixed last night and then they're just implementing it tonight.

The thing i want to know is if they fix the epic lag i´m having. (I hope its true what SwordTaker said) If the lag is still there then RAGE lol xD

I sincerely hope that this fix doesn't undo the fix I got for my stability issues that I've had since .88 that came with .90.

I mean, sure, I want everyone to be able to play without dcing all the time, but darn it, I waited over 2 months and while not perfect, .90 is far more stable for me that it has been.

I assume you're referring to the aweful Scania lag F3. I think that has more to do with dupers than Nexon's incompetence, though almsot the same.

Ahh a patch check. Thought my game crashed on me again, and no in game notice.

Here's to hoping they can stop the dupes.

This patch should address the random Game crashes that every one is experiencing all over the mapleworld instead of just disconnection issues inside the ninja castle.
CLearing APQ has become impossible, not to mention bossing.
