Venture Brothers is the ONLY thing on Adult Swim that is even.... salvageable. I havnt watched Adult Swim in 3 years almost..... Nothing good anymore. They moved all "Anime" to Saturday nights, British shows that I DONT UNDERSTAND are on there. And some live action stuff which i dont particularly like.

"We're creating a unit that will bring happiness to others."

"One unit? How?"

"It will have a programming module... 'Toonami.' All goes well, it should function perfectly."

"What's it called?"

"Toonami Operations Module. TOM, for short."

"What about a backup? It should have a network/database system to work in concert."

"Already there. It'll be called 'Sara.'"

"Alright. So where will they be operating from?"

"A ship we've commissioned. The Absolution."

"Nice name. So these two, aboard the Absolution, will carry out a program that will bring 'happiness' to people?"

"Correct."

"What happens when the program becomes obsolete?"

"Same thing that happens with any program. We shut it down."

"I'm not sure... something that functions like this, people could get attached to it... Do you really want to take that away?"

He finishes fastening the large head to the short, bulbous body. He grimaces at the blue visor, reflecting his visage. "Well... It's just a robot. It's not as though anyone would care." And so, after flicking off the lights, he exits with the other man, leaving TOM1 in the darkness.

"It's been a while, TOM."

"That it has, Sarah."

"I can only assume your return to The Absolution means that we are finished."

"Yep. Toonami's over."

Silence, save the hum of the machines in the background.

"So what does that mean for us?" TOM did not reply at first. Instead, he walked slowly to a large switch, wearing a frown. "TOM?"

"You already know," he said, clutching the switch.

"Yes," she said, a tinge of finality on her mechanical yet soothing voice, "I do."

"Stay gold, Sarah."

"You too, TOM. I think... I will miss you," she said.

"No," said TOM, sighing sorrowfully, pulling the switch. "You won't."

Sarah's hologram flickered for a few seconds before fading. The machines around TOM died out too. The Absolution was absolutely silent. The only light left in the room emanated from a single red button across from the switch TOM had just pulled.

Even slower this time, he somberly ambled to the switch. He scanned his memory banks for any file relating to Toonami, feeling one last rush of nostalgia. Finally, after what seemed like an all too short eternity, he arrived at the button, reading the label above it.

TOM Final Killswitch.

TOM, hand shaking, rested a single finger on the button. Sighing once more, he whispered...

"Bang."
