K-ON!! 24: This was so worth catching up on this show for. Great ending to the show, and it was super-sad too. Dunno if I'll be able to watch the extra episodes after this...

Speaking of which, anyone else agree that the second half of the second season is the best part of the show? Episode 14 may be my favorite comedy wise, but there were some great scenes later on too (Gohan wa Okazu came out of nowhere, and it was amazing).

Yeah, but it's not like they ever said it was a real song. IIRC they denied it right away, so it came out of nowhere when they actually performed it (and the fact that it was originally a joke just made it better).

idk if i can post about manga here, but ive been having a feeling about how the naruto series are going to end for a while now, and i feel like typing it somewhere so i can point at it if i happen to be right

so naruto's quest is to end the hatred in the world, hatred and chain of revenge caused by the arts of ninjutsu... also the rikudo sage is said to be the creator of all jutsu, and is said to inherrit both the uchiha and the (sry dont know the name) other clan, the one naruto/konoha's 1st and 2nd hokage have their roots in. now our naruto is starting to look more and more like the sage.
ive had the feeling that he would need to become the sage to remove the art of ninjutsu from the world for a while but i didnt really see how the naruto/sasuke relationship would fit in right. now since last weeks episode i think naruto somehow ends up becomming the jinjuriki of all the tailed beasts, recreating the 10 tails and (cause ninjutsu got created around the moment the 10 tails got split up) with that power he could remove all of the ninjutsu from the world..
now naruto isnt from both tribes like the original sage but i think thats where sasuke and the rinnegan come in, i think either sasuke or naruto will gain hold of the rinnegan, and they will either both destroy all ninjutsu together, or naruto will have to kill sasuke and use his powers to replicate the sage.

i know its just one of many therories but it might aswell be the right one

Strike Witches 12 Final: Cheesy. I enjoyed the series and the characters but it feels like they decided to just say "screw it, we'll go for a generic ending." A lot of questions they raised earlier were never mentioned again, e.g. the Neuroi that played with Miyafuji last season and the Neuroi that wiped out other Neuroi at the start of this season. Are there different "factions" of Neuroi? Are some friendly? Also, are the Neuroi really wiped out? Was the appearance of the 504th at the end just filler? Or are they the stars of the another season? The very last image seems to imply another witch will pick those up but then the "The End" screen popped up.

SYD 12: I think Hanabira is exaggerating; it seems like another normal episode to me. I didn't get Kotomi's New Year's goal.

Occult Academy 11: Wow, going a tad crazy here with transformations and the seduction scenes.

Nothing much to say, really. There's quite a lot of randomness in this episode...

Sad to see that the next Extra episode will still be set somewhere between 22 and 24. =.= Was kinda hoping for an aftermath.

SYD 1-13 - I really liked this one, even though I got to it a bit late (started in at around episode 9). The sex jokes just fly at you at 100 miles per hour! Im really looking forward to season 2 when/if it comes.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls - 1 - I am seriously blown away by the animation quality of this, and some of the effects are just awesome as well. The story seems interesting, but little has been shown. Ill have to wait til it officially starts airing to give my full take on the story at least. For now, im just happy it looks so freaking awesome.

In all seriousness, SYD was disappointing. The sex jokes and a lot of the visual jokes were great for a while, but after a few episodes it became incredibly predictable and boring. Really, 95% of the scenes are 1 to 4 minutes of Tsuda (or sometimes Suzu) playing the role of tsukkomi to pretty much everyone else's boke (except the topic is always the same for each tsukkomi), rinse and repeat until you've covered 22 minutes. The only thing missing was a giant paper fan slap after every sex/height joke. I think the only reason it's getting attention is that the females are the perverts, but it's still the same shit. 5/10.

High School of the Dead 1-7: I would probably love this show, but the piles of shameless fanservice make it impossible to take seriously, and hard to take at all to be honest. At least enough things are happening in the plot to keep me interested, so I'll probably finish it.

SYD Ep 13 - Lots of rubbish stories and Fourth Wall breaking.

Well, the ending was somewhat funny though.

Aria's VA voiced Ritsu...my God. She sounds COMPLETELY different. =.=

Hagimura's VA voiced Rima from "Shugo Chara!". Something interesting to note is that both the characters are short...

On a side note, Hata's VA voiced Kuroko in To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, and Tsuda's VA voiced Junpei in Nyan Koi.

But really, the only voice I recognised at all was Hata's. Her voice was basically Kuroko in monotone. >.>

I don't really see why HoTD is a great anime at all. Unless you're looking at purely fanservice, lolk. The plot twists are a bit unpredictable, but at times, a bit too convenient. Overall, fanservice does detract from what could have been a great anime.

Seikimatsu Occult Academy: I found this show to be pretty bad. Last three or four episodes decently interesting. Finale was disappointing. Time should not work that way. And then suddenly ROMANCE.

Sekirei ~Pure Engagement: Finale was obvious to lead into a third season. Final fight between Musubi and Karasubasa was so anticlimactic. Pretty bad show in general, like the first season. Just boobs.

Seitokai Yakuindomo: I personally like the pacing of shows like these, and I found it quite funny. The only character I didn't particularly like was Aria. Somewhat disappointing final episode though. I expected something more impactful, but they spent quite a bit of time on Kotomi's fantasy. Also, it seemed like Arai Satomi's (Hata's) lines were not recorded in the actual studio, and had some weird hollow echo in it. I would still like to see a second season of this.

HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD: And they leave out the best part of the series, only hinting that it's coming up with the picture of the mall. I know there isn't a better place to stop it after that but damn it's disappointing. I hope the OVA in the spring covers this. I also hope the mangaka actually decides to draw some more chapters instead of running out of plot and going on hiatus to work on another manga, both of which are monthlies.

Asobi ni Ikuyo!: I enjoyed it but I wouldn't say it was good. Story was super generic. Characters were super bland. Basic harem, but with a "villain". I don't even understand why they added the girl with the magic or whatever. I don't even remember her name and I can't find her character on MAL. I'll give them credit for actually finishing with a HAREM END though. As crappily anti-climactic as it was.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt - 1 - What in dear gods name did I watch? I almost wouldnt even keep watching this if it wasnt for all the batpomegranate insane stuff that goes on. The animation is surprisingly smooth and the style is not locked to the "flash" look they normally have. Pretty good start on here.
