No, regular scrolls do not work on durability items. That's why I was surprised to see chaos scrolls working. You could get some nice INT with chaos scrolling, but you would loose out on all that m. att that is so nifty after BB.

White scrolls also works according to an item I found using minerva owl. My question is: where do we get these durability scrolls? (slates)

Chaos Scrolls are inflating already. Someone just bought my slightly overpriced one for 28m.
