No, they do not "have to change" anything about custom areas if they don't want to.

They do if they want to avoid mobs having stupidly low attack values and no defense.

I for one am incredibly excited that Nexon decided to add this area.
I just hope they don't nerf it too badly. But I honestly can't see them letting Ele Staves just drop from a boss.

As many said before, I would love to see Ulu City and Neo Tokyo content (unlikely).

Kaede Castle is a Feudal Era themed area expansion for the Jipangu continent. It's a maze of a castle with a large level range (25 ~ 180) and the monsters/bosses drop Ribgols, Shield Attack Scrolls, Shield Magic Attack Scrolls, Elemental Wands/Staves, Ilbis and other things.

Pianus, Zakum, HT (and PB?) all have and show KB animations.

Only Corsairs and Evans can cause this by using Homing and Wing respectively. I imagine its a glitch, as other classes can hit the previous KB rates(because iirc, stationary monsters COULD be kb'd for a bit after 4th job) easier than those two and the bosses never get KB'd.

That is a need to change, not a have to change. There is no dark looming figure behind Nexon telling them they have to rebalance custom content. They obviously need too if they don't want those custom areas to be more crowded than they are now, but it's a need to, not a have to.

If a particular monster isn't in KMS then it won't have the 10x applied to it. At least that's how it is currently.

Kaede castle upon release has had a major effect on any version it's been implemented into regardless of 10x drop rate or not. Economy-wise, that is. Just because it isn't under 10x rates doesn't make it s'hit or scarce. In fact, if it did get 10x rates it would be a little broken since we would have TONS of shield w.att scrolls.

Saw it coming when someone said he can / could be "Sniped" much easier compared to Anego. Even then, it's always nice to see another Holy weak boss added into the game.

Well yeah, just grab a buccaneer and bribe them with drops in exchange for barreling.

Who cares what damage he puts out, he's freezable.

Edit: Maybe not... I'm sure when I first heard about Kaede castle I watched videos and saw him frozen.
