Battle Mages and the Elemental Staff
#1
Will a Battle Mage's attack (any) get a reduction from use of an elemental staff?

Similar to the first question but not the same exact question: Will a Dark Element get reduction from an elemental staff?

Also, does a Battle Mage's main attack (the combo) have an element or is it non-elemental?

Thanks.

No
I believe it's Dark or Neutral.

They should really consider making Holy and Dark elemental staff/wands, I know holy is considered a element in the game so why not dark because that move looks like a dark type attack but it's supposedly neutral plus I think they would look cool.

Dark is an element in the game. Dark Gen and Lightning are Dark element.

As Dusk said, Dark Genesis and Dark Lightning are the only attacks they have that are of Dark element. Everything else they have is neutral.

Evan's have dark elemental skills as well.

I personaly tested this out against a balrog and some undead mobs. Dark elemental skills do reduced damage against them, but do not do any increased damage on light based mobs such as Pixies and memory mobs.

Dark Lightning = Dark Fog, the Evan skill.
