Get a map editor, like MC Edit, and make a 10x10xwhat-ever-the-limit-is box of air. Deleting Bedrock and all. Encase this in bedrock. It should be a giant tube in the map that would allow aliens to pass straight to beneath the map. Make a new user group, "Jailed", and have them spawn in the box with /spawn, /home, et cetera. As long as the X and Y coordinates can be set, you have a fool-proof jail.

I'm assuming X and Y are the two surface dimensions, and Z is altitude.

In other news, please work on a Cartograph of the map. Then upload it via mediafire, because 99% of image hosts modify the image and I need the map to be pixel-precise for strict building layouts.

Mira was talking about a bridge concept, and I made a two-ideas-in-one model with Half blocks and Cobble stone. Cobble stone is ugly as pomegranate. Don't use it. My model is meant to have Obsidian, but I cannot mine (or find) it. If someone could replace the cobble with Obsidian, that would be great.

The model is located near Mira's Castle, on the ground.

Oh! I found out how to fix sound (if you have the resources already).

Hold down F3 and push S. It just refreshes your resources.
(If you're without the resources folder, I dunno. :/)

Free survival: You build stuff. There's zombies.
Classic mode: Just build crap. Unlimited blocks and such, but no items.

So the transaction cleared and i can now go to multiplayer mode and shiz. And, i got sound at last. =D

was working on expanding my home a bit and one of those green buggers sneaked up on me. by god i swear to satan if i hadnt had sound to alert me to it i'd have died. it took out a set of stairs i was working on too. =]

Ive got a chamber underground, and i put some dirt there and some flowers. i tried to plant a tree but it keeps popping back out into a sapling.

I made a room on the surface and made the floor out of grass, every know and then when I go back theres animals in there (And theres no real entrance point to the room ether) Seen it done on a youtube video so I tried it my self. comes in handy.

oh. Well, see, im a bit of a mole and have got a few chambers underground as my home. a little vestibule with a glass wall to see outside, then the antechamber which has my main forge, crafting bench, and storage case. that leads to my basement level where ive got a massive chamber where i attempted to plant a tree, but failed, so im just going to keep expanding that; as well a hallway that leads to my "living room" that connects to the system of tunnels and caves i'm building.

Also just a while ago i started to drift out to sea on my boat and found an island. gonna try to build a bridge to it later.

Out of curiosity, are snow levels generated at random? So long as offline alpha is free I might as well see what I can get there. Oh, also, how exactly does farming work such as this placing grass underground stuff you guys keep talking about. I made a hoe, but I'm clueless as to what to do with it.
