Saddest thing I had to do today was e-mail a friend and give her my specs to post to the Nexon forums since I and my opinions aren't welcome there. Sad that they value the opinion of non-players over current players. It's even sadder when I see a post by a friend where a user who quit and doesn't play is saying people like me should have quit long ago. Big Bang doesn't guarantee anything will be ''fixed'', but it'll give them a better chance to attempt to fix stuff.

Their acting all innocent, like this is the first time they heard Windows 7 and Vista players have problems with MapleStory, does not bode well for Big Bang solving anything. If their development team (in Korea) never knew there was a problem, they can't have fixed it, now can they?

Cause rolling out Big Bang and fixing an acknowledged issue is good PR. Quietly fixing it without mentioning it was ever a problem is what they're known for. Might as well take advantage of everything the new client gets.

Personally I say they should just block all Win7/Vista users and be done with their bawwing. XP or the highway.

yeah, tell me where you can find a xp copy? only on warez forum. Dell only work with win7 now, same with HP, sony, etc.
if you install winxP on a computer with quad core or more cores, you will lose all the performance, since windows XP only support 2 core. its like you having 4 arms, but only 2 are usefull.

its already dying, IE9, the new live messenger, office 2010, they dont work with winxP anymore, not sure about office 2007, i think a patch is need to make it able to run on winxP.
even microsoft isnt releasing their own program compatible with winxP anymore.

Office 2010 does not support Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

It will run on winxP service pack 3 32bits only.

Knowing Nexon, their fixes to this problem is, or rather has already been done with the BB patch. This is nothing more than an attention grabbing feast. It's not like NexAm can do anything about fixing compatibility issues, which IMO is a huge fix.

I stated the obvious. Nexon hasn't done squat worth their own ass to do anything to have even prevented, fixed, or resolved an issue that could have been prevented when Vista first came out, and thanks the peanut gallery on the Nexon forums who wanted to start a fight, I'm banned and had to ask a friend a favor.
