Seems whoever was interviewed was Raynor.

The End
The five of you sit in the mostly barren cantina, the abstract presence of the fifteen dead (or, rather, fourteen dead and one hospitalized) threatening to devour any telepath near you. "So... this is it." The apparent leader in the group was Rayquaza2233, speaking with authority. "The night has passed, but no one's been killed. Should we proceed to lynching?" "No, we shouldn't," said Dusk, leaning back on his chair. A figure bursts into the cantina.. who is it? You all make faces at each other, staring at none other than Zeratul, Lord Xela. "I bring tidings from the future..." he begins, but is cut off by ClawOfBeta. "You're already dead, dumbface," he remarks. "Right." answers Lord Xela. He continues, "I bring tidings from the past, then.. A few days ago, you all lynched someone. As to avoid spoilers, I won't say who, but when you lynched them you set forth a merciless evil. The hybrids, a monstrous race of mixed Zerg and Protoss DNA, have already begun their assault the night you lynched them. Who, who, who may it be? Reveal yourself; the game is over." Dusk stands up. "All right. We're done with this. I'm the hybrid some of you may have been seeking." Lord Xela continued, "in the future.. the person you lynched would have been the person to stop the hybrids from taking over.. but because of their death, this killer is unstoppable." ClawOfBeta protested, "Let's just kill him then!" Dusk grinned, replying, "There is nothing to stop. The hybrid has claimed power." With a deft slash, Dusk kills ClawOfBeta, as well as Kurtle and MasPan.
Role PMs for Day 9
"So, it's you and me, Rayquaza2233.. or should I call you James Raynor?" Dusk taunts. "I don't care. I can't believe..." Rayquaza2233 stops and thinks for a moment. "There's no hope now, is there?" "No, there isn't," Dusk replies with a smile. "We, the perfect breed, will take over." Still smiling, Dusk slashes James Raynor, whose last vision is the cold, metal floor. FIN, Dusk wins Post-game to come up shortly.

So we needed to leave Zeratul alive in order to have any chance at winning? Dang, that's harsh.

![]() I think I was a little bit overpowered >_> ElectricSix Wrote:So we needed to leave Zeratul alive in order to have any chance at winning? Dang, that's harsh. No, you needed to kill me, a neutral, before taking out ThatHurts, the last Zerg (or sometime shortly after), but there was no way for anyone to know how many neutrals were out there.

-role pm edited out-
Then on Night 6: Quote:You gain an ability! Then apparently I had 2 kills on Night 7. WHAT THE HELL I was not expecting that. I assumed from my role PM that I would have to survive with just the shield until two of the factions were eliminated, so my original plan was just to identify and lynch the inspectors if possible, then turtle with my shield ability as long as possible until we got rid of the mafia. Instead, I got the most ridiculous ability I've ever seen in a mafia game. I was planning to idle tonight, get MasPan lynched tomorrow, and take out two of the remaining three the next night, but then I found out I had THREE kills on Night 8. Sorry guys. ElectricSix Wrote:Err MasPan was still alive and a Zerg, unless you meant the main characters from the mafia? Oh. Well then I have no idea why killing ThatHurts suddenly gave me a free ticket to winning the game.

. . . That is fairly ridiculous. <.< Not saying I don't like the idea of people gaining new abilities after surviving for a certain amount of time, but I think a bit overpowered. Suddenly have one night kill after thinking you've taken care of everyone with night kills is one thing, but being able to kill off half of the remaining players? I don't think that's right.
I kind of thought there was another neutral out there, but I had no idea it'd be that powerful. I was thinking it might be Samir Duran or someone like that, who appeared Terran on inspection, but really was out for himself only. Had some ghost like ability, maybe a stolen Protoss and Zerg ability too. That'd have made more sense to me than giving someone that many night kills.

MetaSeraphim Wrote:Well, anyone could have guessed. When the game started I assumed there was a total of 8 mafia, 10 terran and 2 neutrals. Did that information come from playing other SP mafia games, or what? I've never played a mafia game with neutrals and it's typically a 1:2 mafia:town ratio.

Dusk Wrote:Did that information come from playing other SP mafia games, or what? Sort of. I based the 8 mafia on the fact that other SP games had both mafia sides with the same amount of members.. The rest was a guess because of the amount of players we had plus it being an even number.

Hmm, so my quotes after I died were actually correct, that is interesting.
The game ending was kinda unexpected.

Things That Came Up
First of all, thanks for playing. I enjoyed typing up stuff and screwing people over. The game WAS actually quite bad, I know. Second of all, I have removed the password in #spstarcraft, the Protoss channel, in GameSurge as mafia IRC for anyone who wishes to use it. I will either let the channels die or give them to someone who will use them for any other reason. (The Zerg channel is #spzerg if anyone's interested in claiming it for whatever.) Dusk: Incredibly OP Yes, Dusk clearly had the upper hand in the late game. Dusk gained his killing ability one night and one day after Sarah Kerrigan died. With the amount of inspectors the Terrans got (four, according to MasPan), the village should've been able to locate at least one hybrid.. and you guys did. But Dusk managed to slip through. If Ray survived instead of Dusk, he would have been given the same power. If both survived past CJ's death, they would have alternated killing. Hidden Abilities Tychus Findlay || Media Blitz: acquired upon successfully mounting Odin. Skips either a day or a night, depending on when it is used (it skips the next 12-hour period). One use. Odin || Barrage: acquired upon being successfully mounted by Tychus. Kill ability usable every two nights. Reaver || Resist: acquired upon surviving past Day 3. Generates immunity to one negative effect. Infestor || Infested Terran: acquired upon the death of James Raynor. Sends out a Terran to impersonate Raynor but kill someone in the day. Maar || Destroy: You know how this went down. Communication I got a couple of PMs from people asking me to remove the "no talking" rule. The game was supposed to be an experiment about how long Town would last without communications, but that got thrown out the window pretty quick. My fault. Then people started roleclaiming, and that's where the game exploded. Relation Between Vortex Targets This was mostly flavor text. I laughed when everyone started taking it seriously. The relation is.. THEY WERE ALL VORTEX TARGETS.

It was a fun game none the less. With all the chaos that happened late in the game I thought if there was truly another hybrid out there it was the perfect time for them to make their move and win, little did I know it was that other hybrid that was causing all the chaos. lol
