Damn them to hell if they prolong this event with another week to "fix" this. I absolutely loved what they tried to do with this event, but lets take it for what it is: a first try and more or less a failure. Better luck next time. Also, if they nerf the medal, I have no choice than to believe it was all a smart hoax aimed at getting people to log on more than usual and take part in the event in fear of missing the awesome medal. Nexon knows extractions are widely spread.

You can do the crystanol quests over and over again.

I did the math, and if I spend 4 hours at it every day from now until the event ends, I will be able to make one piece of Visitor armor permanent...

HAI gaiz! we're incompetent and can't get a patch out when we want to, so we're going to extend the event for another 2 weeks so you can defeat all the aliens possible! Then we'll release tespia to over 9000 very accomplished maplers so that they can maybe test the future stuff that we might release on time.

Well, I would agree, but it IS Nexon, and ThaiMS did just that, another week. But they canceled the crystanol quests, and locked the lvl 30 and 60 PQs.

Could always integrate it in the next patch. I think a lot of people would rage if they extended the event without a new patch. And on the copy pasta note:Every version of MS does this we aren't the only ones. Plus someone had already proved we got more in this event than Thai got in theirs.

So that seems to indicate Bing appears only on the final day? I suppose storywise this would make sense but if thats true then they shouldve mentioned a Finale or something with the Visitor notice. Likely its a ploy to cover up their testing failures.

More like it was a glitch. I guess sort of it is a "finale" but they'll probably take everything out add in Bing in OS and move on with their patch.

Or maybe they need more time for the Big Bang... yeah, right.
Hopefully Dr. Bing shows up on the 29th so we can grab the medal.
