Eh... Am I the only one who feels disappointed with this theme? Went from awesome piano/melody in 4th gen and HG/SS to some kind of cryptic drumbeat thing.

Well the one I posted is the thing that plays before you fight her, which imo is way better than her actual fight music (which is basically the same from DPPT/BW)

Ditto. I want to stop these rare candy shenanigans, it's kinda annoying to do.

You have to do some Hex editing. (or download a prepatched rom)

The name of the "Kanto Champion" file doesn't point to any in-game event.

Also, the AP fix requires a quick hex edit. You can find it on /vp/.

1) Yes, 100% playable, if it's been prepatched with the AP fix
2) Not a fan of emulators, but I heard desmume works completely fine

The bug/steel legendary is really cool. Apparently Team Plasma experimented on him or something.

There's a really interesting theory about this legendary going around at GameFAQs. This legendary is from really ancient times, and Team Plasma revived it and experimented on it. That much is supposedly known through Pokedex entries. The theory is that Team Plasma did this because their goal at some point switches from 'seperate humans and Pokemon' to something more like 'use this to wipe out all of humanity for the sake of nature'.

Would be pretty crazy if true.

2- desume is fine, but for me i get random parts of extreme lag.

So far, game's comfortable. Had a Fire (Pignite) and Grass (Veggie Monkey) before the first gym. You get the monkey from a girl in an area right of the Gym city, the monkey depends on your first Pokemon (it covers your starter's weakness).

In the first routes, I've seen the chipmunk, puppy and kitty. A bit past the first gym and I'm encountering the electric zebra and the pigeon.
