I don't know what you guys are getting excited about. They're doing a contest for what to call it. They never said when it's going to be released. They could take a few more months.


The Nexon staff might just be like, "let's tell them what we're bringing to the game in advance, so they'll have something to look forward to."

They still have another 15ish days until a patch has to happen. o_o Like i said on SW, they clearly have been working on BB for months already and the fact that the new heal animation is already in the game shows they're very close to release.

EDIT: How about a name suggesting the on-going progress of our storyline with the Black Mage? Everything I can think of is kind of as lame as MapleStory - the Awakening.

i can't think of a single instance in which nexon has announced a future patch months ahead of time, or even one patch ahead of time for that matter.

Just because it hasn't happened in the past, it doesn't mean it can't happen. Nexon is a changing company. They're trying to get the attention of more players, so anything is possible.

For God's sake, just call it the "Big Bang" patch. Literally everyone knows the upcoming "big" patch by that name.

I wouldn't, most players won't even use big bang very much except when climbing ladders. I know AR and SR will be my main attacks as a bishop 99.99% of the time.

Yeah, but there are still quite a lot of people who think Big Bang will be a good all-around skill, not to mention it's one of the rarest magician books because no one uses it. Besides, I'll just be killing Pianus for them anyway. CL30 and Para 30 might be good books to have too.

Buying up MBs don't make too much sense unless a completely worthless skill became worthwhile. Most serious players have gotten all their MBs by now, even if they don't have enough SP in them to use it. I for one had Dragon Pulse MBs ever since fourth job came to JMS; three years later, haven't used em.
