i can't solo it on my buccaneer. i wasted 15 minutes trying to get the damned thing to 50% amnd wasted 150 honsters... unless you have some really fast hitting range attack and can tank the touch/magic, you won;t solo anytime soon,

The only thing to watch out for soloing is that if you die, the boss map resets and you have to start again. I did solo it on my Paladin (without going to the top of the map) but perhaps it's Holy weak? I was using lv.28 Blast no problem.

I've been soloing with 2 characters, on boss stage let one of them die and dont respawn him, that way even if your main dies the boss doesn't reset

This PQ looks interesting, if only for a change of pace. Too bad that, in every channel, the 30+ version is always full; at this rate I'll have a hard time getting into one.

120+ pq day 4 :
After getting 3 chairs we finally got a vip weapon, a spear.

Best way to deal with the lvl 60 UV, is to basically stay ontop of it and just tank the touch damage. Thats what ive been doing on my DB, and have basically been killing with little to no deaths.

And i now share this with my friend

Our 4th day at 120+ PQ dropped nothing =/
Also Tanking the touch damage works for the most part, but the boss still got me through invincibility touch at the very end...

Took it down today during 2x event and got XBow. Might be hard to see, required str 28 required dex 80.

oh wow. it actually drops with the right stats (those that matter anyway). I bet next patch will change the level and stat requirements

yeah the problem is, the other party member dc'd so i essentially had only 1 death before the life resets. since i'm the only target for the freeze, and i'm melee range, i get stuck on top of the boss and end up taking touch and or magic damage. I can't use my full gear because of the aliengear, so i'm using my old king cent, which equates to a loss of over 1000 in my damage range. the boss can freeze during invincibility frames and i don't have quite enough HP to tank all the hits 100% of the time, and once my boosters run out, i have less than a second to pot after. I tried to do long range, but the result is the same as the damned thing heals like half the damage i can deal with a barrage/dragon strike combo. i tried once just dragon strike and demo, but i couldn't beat it in the alloted time.


so probably: my damage sucks and i need to level like 5 more times or find someone willing to give me decent HB.

So are there any videos of more than just the boss dieing in the 120 PQ? I want to try it, but I'd like to get an idea of how terribly I'm going to fail first.

I haven't read the entire thread, but:
I spent about half an hour attempting to solo the 60+ boss today since my partner res died, and I learned a few things. I think the regular, multiple lightning strike attacks are % based, so hb wouldn't help if you're being mercilessly hit while frozen. When I was first attempting, I found that I could take two hits, and the third would kill me, but only by 200 hp. Once I changed from my quest specialist medal to my 4th job one to gain it's hp which should have put me over that threshold, I instead started taking about 200 more dmg per attack.

I've also noticed that all of the "regular" attacks have pitiful vertical range. You can still be blocked and bombed, but as a ranged, I start just below the first purple step to avoid regular damage for a short while if I get sealed. Probably already been stated, but the explosions go off when he does the "gears" animation if you are not sealed at that moment and are within range. Odd exceptions to this, such as standing still just outside the range, but it also seems that if the animation has just completed and you go into the range, it will kill you as well. I can't say too much definitively, but movement is key to going boom. That still doesn't help in the "what the hell is helping" issue though.

Kinda doubt anything I've said is new, but never hurts to share personal experiences if it could help others take down the 120.

Seems to me the xBow is +3atk and +1SPD above
