Not bad. Most of the Legend of Zelda franchise has a higher score than that, though.



But seriously, the game looks amazing. If I could, I would definitely play this game. Unfortunately, I have to sit back and watch from the side lines. =/

I agree with the Presentation section. It does indeed look much better than both Halo 3 and Halo: ODST. Halo: Reach looks a lot more polished than any other Halo game in the market.

As for Gameplay...I'll have to experience it firsthand before I can pass any judgement on it.

From what I've played, The gameplay mechanics are most certainly changed from Halo 3, not a Major adjustment but you will have to learn how to adjust to Armor Abilities and such, but the single player experience is so fun.

The main thing I'm looking forward to is the heightened difficulty in Co-Op mode. I've always found Co-Op mode a little too easy (except on Legendary, of course), so this really is a welcome change.

I second this, as I've wanted a difficulty that got more difficult in multiplayer.

I am disappoint.

The only thing I really care about in Halo: Reach is that they brought back the health bar. Thank god they did. It may be a small addition, but it does so much to balance gameplay. It gets rid of the guess work. Like in CoD, when you ran low on health, your screen got more red. Well, how do I know how much more I can take before I go down? And then worse, after a few seconds you're all ok as you instantly regenerate health. It's been a worrying trend that more and more games forgo the health bar, and hopefully this will help reverse that.

Also, didn't know this was Bungee's last Halo game. inb4 microsoft ruins the franchise.

I don't like IGN's reviews. Most are paid off, and the Halo franchise is no exception.

I've been anticipating this game for like a year now, especially since I've read the halo books and got the WHOLE Halo story. I can't freaking wait.

Getting it at midnight, waiting for my 4 team for Campaign to get online, staying up for 20 hours and playing this game as much as possible.

As you can see, I'm a bit hyped, and I completely agree with this review.

i went out and got a slim xbox to play this and i must say i enjoyed it alot! i wouldnt say its perfect but defs 8/10

People tend to forget that reviews are opinions, I remember when IGN gave Mario Galaxy 2 10s across the board, there was a huge shitstorm on another forum I go to for days, use reviews as a guideline maybe, but don't let them influence any major decisions about the game, as its just some guy or girl's opinion.

That said, I am not, and never was, much of a Halo guy, ironic since I LOVED tribes back in the day, and Halo is just a modern Tribes 2, I will play it with friends, but dont go out of my way to pick up the games day 1 or anything.
