level 60+ one seems to be easiest ti obtain things of a certain value. If time permits, 30+ for farming lower level junk. 120+ if you think you can live.

Zalfor Wrote:I'd like to applaud Birdie for his fairly in-depth guide to the PQ. Pretty sure you have me confused with someone else(faerieskater and -ghost- both posted nice guides/tips), but i do have one tip basic tip to add. Only go into the right side portal if you have to, this will allow you to complete the pq with the least amount of back tracking through completed rooms and it just helped me keep my barrings a bit better.

Ah, was mistaken. I meant -Ghost-. You look through these past few pages and you see the same avatars over and over and it gets confusing/miss your place. Anywho, I would also like to add that no matter what the droprate is on these weapons, I must say the lower level ones like the 47s/67s up to 87s seem to still be far easier to get than any of the Maple weapons the past two anniversaries. They all have basically the same stats except for the 49 staff and 43 wand I believe(missing the +100 hp/mp of the lama etc.) and so far are way easier to obtain. Hell, you don't even have to use a Maple Shield to get a mage/thief/warrior shield anymore. So I call this a pretty cool event altogether.

I enjoy Stage 3 because the PQ actually gives you something to do, and it also rewards you with equipment that are actually good for when this event is over unlike the suits.
The only things I hate about it is that you're -incredibly- limited to how many times you can try the PQ a day for Lv.60 and 120+ difficulties. Then there's also the fact that even though Nexon knows they have thousands of players on every day, you only get one ''room'' per difficulty per channel, so be ready to wait and wait before you can even try the PQ.

I just wished they had attempted to fix the connection issues in the SC before going ahead with this event. Every time I change channels to try to find an open room or find a party I get disconnected and have to relog and wait or take my chances again.

I was duoing the pq with a 200 Hero ign Wolfsalot and we ran out of time at last boss. With just two of us we lacked manpower, so every stage, especially invisible/visible stage, killed us. We did invis/vis stage literally 40 times.
Does anyone know how to unseduce your partner on final boss (at level 120 one) because the two of us died so so so so so so soooooo so much.

Just tried out the Lv60 PQ today on my DB. I crashed after I tried using monster bomb on the orb in the light on/off cube. Anyone else get the same problem, or is it just a general DC thing?

Checking in, has anyone successfully killed the 120+ pq?
And do we have an asnwer for how to get out of the block/seduce thing?

ultimax21 Wrote:Well, this is late coming from me, and I don't know if this has been posted before but, the max possible amount of uwana cells (cells that add slots to pieces) is 13. Happened to my +25 upgraded alien shoe today, I couldn't add anymore slots which is quite lame. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get my shoe past 17 slots. When I used the rest of my uwana cells on my overall, I couldn't get that past +5 slots either. Do we have to increase slots evenly on every piece of the set or something?

Kalovale Wrote:Wow, it takes CS that much time? I'm not even going to bother then. The 0:50 timer is for the boss room. When it runs out, everyone just dies and it resets. How long did it actually take?

2010-09-08, 10:41 PM
I believe theres a 2 hour limit, I may be wrong. But my guess is around an hour- hour and a half. Atleast 30-45 minutes on the bomb room.

so anyone have a tip as to how to do the boss? He does this "You've been immobilizes and will explode unless someone helps you!" move, except no where does it tell you what to do to "help". Actually that's definitely the biggest problem with this, there's practically no direction at all, you just have to guess wtp's going on and hope it works out. So yeah if anyone has advice on how to not explode on the final boss that'd be nice.

Seems to be working but the lvl 60 pq took me about 3 hits I think to free someone.

When someone gets immobilized, you're supposed to poke/hit them until they break free. I do agree with how they don't give much direction as for what's going on.
Overall though, I like this PQ and hope there's more events similar to this with instanced PQs instead of fighting for channels. |
