@Red- Denial of what? I, by no means, consider myself popular, much less important. When I left the country for a month, sometime in the summer, I'm sure absolutely no one noticed or cared. I just up and left. Originally, i was going to leave a notice, but, I decided no would really give 2 kicks either way.

@Blue- I'm really annoyed when people talk about "OH, I MISS SO & SO" CONSTANTLY. I mean, really, move along now. They're gone. Just a good memory. If they come back, "Yay!".

@The Rest-
I am a generic member, I do nothing important and make little contribution. I am NOT being sarcastic, of course I could be replaced. I carry no real value to Southperry. But, IMHO, no one really does. If you look at it, everyone is eventually replaced with someone else of similar 'character' (BTW, everyone here has 'two shreds' of character, some just pop out more). Its not as if all the 'great' people were here from the beginning. I've seen plenty of people leave, only for their void to be later filled or go unnoticed. Thus, that is why I party-poop every thread that talks about someone who has left, or one who is announcing their leave.

@ Green
I am. I love it, no one badgers me or anything. I don't get attention and can go on my merry way and be in the imaginary low-class of Southperry. "Important People">"Worthless People".

I understand what you mean though. There are members here who are very notable (Spidey, Providence, etc). For whatever reason, they may have been humorous or unique, but, just like real life celebrities, who are admired for whatever reason, there will always be people out there, like me, who could just care a whole lot less about these 'celebrities'. I put everyone in the same ranking of 'importance' and 'value'. So, unless someone has died or is dying, I highly doubt i will ever really care of their absence/leave.

*I'm talking of online absences, not real-life, obviously, then I would start caring if the person had been close to me.

this is directed towards the green response:
see, thats how i love to live, unnoticed and unimportant. its easier in so many ways, but it is a downside in ive separated myself from a lot of people and am suffering for it socially. While i enjoy not being a vital member of anything, part of me hates and regrets it because i wish i had someone that would at least see something i do and notice it, whether or not they even like it. "everyone needs a somebody," and when youre a nobody... life isnt fun.

You're boring and have no personality. There are hundreds of people here and most of them are just as bland as you. At least they recognize this fact instead of being in a state of denial and having to crash every thread that discusses people who have left who had at least two shreds of character. Just because you could probably be replaced by a thousand other generic guests and no one would comment or give a crap doesn't mean that this applies to other specific users. I'm not even being mean or malevolent either. You're really just a worthless user.

Well, sorry for being bland... Frown

Some people can't help it. Sure there are a ton of people in life and on the internet who try as hard as they can to get noticed. But there are a few people where just by being themself they get a ton of attention without even wanting it. And of course there are people who try to be a nobody.

Sometimes you're a nobody without trying, sometimes you're a somebody without trying, either way it's pretty annoying.

We are all everybody. I cast aside that notion however to become anybody, and somebody will fill my place and nobody will notice.
