I was right twice in a row. I don't know what more I can possibly do to prove I'm the detective.

Yoshi could probably vouch for me, but that doesn't really help me at all today.

I don't think you can claim being right about Russt just because he posted in agreement. If he were the godfather, he certainly wouldn't be quick to point out that you were in fact wrong and he's the mafia ringleader, know what I mean? That said, you technically were right about BTA, and Yoshi was very adamant in supporting you yesterday... I'm still not totally convinced, but for now I'll [Unvote] SteelSeraph while I think it all over.

Believe me, I totally understand why you wouldn't trust me. I suppose I should at least try to explain my actions a little more in the hopes of clarifying my actions a bit. I didn't try to detect Xela or Darkmaniac because i figured BTA was bluffing, so I picked someone else at random. And yes, by all logic I should be dead. All I can think to say in my defense is this, if I were mafia, would any of my actions make the least bit of sense? Let's say I'm either in league with BTA or just got lucky declaring him mafia. What would I stand to gain from that? Like I said before, pretending to be detective is an incredibly stupid tactic, since a single wrong detection not only exposes you but exposes everyone you "detected."

My mom decided to clean my room. It took FOUR HOURS. I am exhausted and won't make an elaborate post. SteelSeraph was lynched.

Moving the deadline back an hour to 5 PM EST because my math tutor moved back an hour, which was the main reason I had a 6 deadline.

Completely exhausted today too, but I'm not mailing it in two updates in a row.

The people of Positivia (that is what I named it, right?) gathered around the town square again, and were shocked to find two bodies for the first time. One was of a fallen bird that was beaten up, and the other... was giblets. Synthesist and Kurtle have been killed.

You are Zapdos. You are a large electric bird, and a Legendary Pokemon. You can generate large amounts of electricity with your power and the Power Plant you reside in, but you need metal to repair it each night. Fortunately for you, another person in this town can create metal every night, but needs your electricity. Every night, you may PM Rayquaza2233 with “Night x – Cooperate” or “Night x – Defect”. If you both cooperate, you each get two points. If you both defect, you get one point each. If you cooperate and the other person defects, you get nothing. However, if you defect and the other person cooperates, you get 3 points. If your partner is dead you get one point per night. You may use these points for the following, but only one action per night. At a cost of 4 points, you can PM Rayquaza2233 at night with “Night x – Detect USER”. You will get that user’s full role PM. For three points, you can PM Rayquaza2233 with “Night x – Thunder Wave USER”. User will be paralyzed and unable to talk until the next day. For two points, you can PM Rayquaza2233 with “Night x – Fly over USER”. You will find out who that user targeted with his or her night action. You are unallied and win if you are the last person standing.

You are the BLU spy. You will be using your stealthy abilities to aid the Positives in this battle. At night, you may PM Rayquaza2233 with “Night x – cloak near USER”. You will steal that user’s items. On inspection, you will come up as a RED spy because really, no one trusts spies. You win if the Positives are the last faction standing.

There was no news today. It is now day 5, this day ends at 5 PM EST Sunday.

What the pineapple were you guys thinking killing off SteelSeraph like that? I even said I would willingly give up my own life to prove his innocence. God damn it guys.

Only 1 kill has happened each night (except for this night) because of coincidences that Ray apparently finds hilarious.
My microphone has been stolen, meaning I can no longer ask Ray questions.
My mason group is now gone. Thanks a lot guys. pineapple the world.

1 of the mason groups out of all of the mason groups that are out there has no scum in it.

I'm honestly surprised at Seraph's innocence. While it's true that fake claiming cop would've been a stupid thing to do in that situation, I don't understand his motive for real claiming then. BTA was already under suspicion and things about Seraph's claim just didn't add up.

Also Ray, you forgot to cross off SteelSeraph.

the only thing i can gather from all thats happened is ray's made a damned good game of mafia. lots of turns and surprises have been fun to watch happen. if only to lead to a tie and prevent lynching:

If we ever play another game, there needs to be a way to get people to talk in the thread. There's almost no way positives can win, and we're even worse off seeing as half the people signed up haven't done anything/are only doing anything in their mason groups.
Then again, maybe last game just turned out in a Town win because of the scum crossfires. :/

Though I died rather early, and this game is yet to finish, I definitely think the mason groups ended up hurting more than helping. They're a nice idea, but unfortunately I feel they are crippling to the town unless you've got the time to figure out how much you can trust them and come up with a decent strategy that doesn't end up killing the group before it can effectively lynch the mafia. Limiting your strategy to either the mason group or wide open for all to see is not what I'd like to have to choose between. I think perhaps if there was some middle ground where you were limited to talking to small number of people through pms, but not a mason group, that might work out better. So for this size game, Everyone can talk to between 3-5 different people, but not all the same people. So you can coordinate with others, but it's not quite as open as irc. So for example, you could have the same person as someone else, thus if you wanted a larger strategy, you could pm the first person your idea, and have them pm it to the second person. Of course that does leave the mafia with room to exploit or change your message, but that'd just be another part of the game you'd have to take into account. I dunno, that may be overcomplicating things, but it's the only middle area I could really think of between Irc free for all and small mason groups.

The only reason why this isn't allowed is because it's completely unfair to the mafia, because then the mafia ends up fucked over when all confirmed townies start plotting together. That's what happened last game in the Pokemafia.
