What is this thing called a human heart? Is it just the vessel that pumps our blood through our veins and arteries, that beats and is mistaken for being the source of the soul, or the home of love? Is it wrapped in a chocolate foil wrapping and filled with chocolate? I believe that this human heart is but an organ that rests inside an even more important meaning: it serves to remind us that we are living. You can take a razor to your arm and carve out your skin from your bone, but the heart is key to life. More than a brain is as plenty of being are fully capable of life without a brain, they just lack sentience. Without a heart, the motor that drives all lives, we'd be no more that rocks sitting in a quarry, waiting for an explosion to rip us apart and tear our fragile lives to fragments of grit and dust.

My brain feels. When I jerk my head around too quickly or if I get a head ache, it hurts.

If i were to take a buzzsaw and cut open into your head, and i were to poke at your grey matter, i guarantee you you would not feel a thing after the initial removal of your skull. This is a fact proven time and time again. What causes headaches i am not aware of but i venture a guess it is more the pressure that builds up inside of your skull and the nerve endings on your head and not any reaction of your brain. you may feel a pain, but it is not a pain of the brain, it is a pain of the head. hence, why it is called a headache and not a brainache. |
