Yes...it does.
Its at the point where I had to edit the video due to the misconceptions people posting it has caused.

Now, looking at the 26 second solo, notice that his damage goes from 800ks to just 999,999 throughout the end.
He's displaying Infinity near the end for a quicker solo attempt.

Infinity is a lot more interesting now. Instead of being a 10% damage increase, it's 10% every 6 seconds (with magic mastery?)
So (10+20+30+40+50+60+70+80+90+100)/10= 55% damage increase on average for one minute.
(155% + 100% + 100%)/3 = 118.33% damage. Overall.
The got rid of the insanely long Magic Attack formula and replaced it with a simple one, but then they still make it difficult to calculate AM DPS because of how many factors they threw in >:I

You mentioned that GMS would be utterly broken if this damage is obtainable with regular equips. That, to me, kinda implied it.
My rhetorical opinion: So a funded DrK, for instance, hitting 500k 3 times in a second is not broken, but a funded AM with their slow-ass attacks hitting 999k per second is broken?

Er, you mean 88 CPM is slow? The fastest attacks in the game, discounting the hurricane style attacks, are 100 CPM dood.

There is no DPS difference between an attack that hits 3 times for 200k and an attack that hits 1 time for 600k if they cast at the same speed. The only differences that come into play are damage stability (which isn't an issue) and the damage cap.

Absolutely true, but I'm also talking about hits per second.
How is hits per second any different than hits per minute? In the end, an attack will hit either once or twice every second. Unless you mean multi-hit attacks, which is just silly because that's just extra numbers, not extra attacks. More numbers appearing slightly faster =! much faster.

I get this. Was just trying to make a point that if a weapon att class can achieve 1.5m damage in 1 second (hitting 500k 3 times within that second), and an AM hits 999k in the same time span; this in no way makes the AM "broken".

Uhh...
You do know that CL is 690ms opposed as opposed to crusher's 990ms with a 7-speed weapon (which is most spears) ( http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=3217) right?
Also, I've yet to see a DrK hitting 500k per hit (let alone total from one attack), so to me it seems like you're pretty much talking out of your ass.

I haven't seen 500k hits yet either but why not assume it is possible. I mean, isn't 150k per hit in KMS easily possible for a move that hits a target 3 times each second? Couple that with an onyx apple and godly equips that may just become 500k. What can the mage do now...they can't go above 999k? Catch my drift?
and you're right about cast speed. I'm only making hypothetical yet realistic (at least in GMS) scenarios.

So basically you're complaining about the damage cap which is nearly impossible to hit unless you have extremely amazing equipment? You should go see how difficult it would be for a DrK to get damage up there.
Also, Onyx apples don't exist in KMS, but it wouldn't even double your damage considering how much attack DrKs would have to start with.

This argument is completely meaningless because a DrK's main 1v1 attack skill, Sacrifice, also only hits once.

Maple is just completely imbalanced. They should have thought more about the potential system and the new skill revamps before finalizing it. Sometimes it feels like a side-scrolling shooting game. R-type, anyone?

Crusher does 580% before crit/Dark Force. Sacrifice does 690%, is faster, and ignores PDrate.

Wouldn't that make Dual Bladers the most broken, in theory? 12 hits of 1m, and 12 hits of 800k for a total of 21.6m per attack. Basing it purely off your argument, of course.
