I guess that could be true, but for people like me who are still just passed 4th job I'd rather get the skill points now and be able to play around with them right after BB comes out rather than having to level after BB without the skills.

To each his own though, yah know?

It seems like you are wasting your time training the triple amount of time you would train after BB.

Nexon's double drop events are just double meso (or atelast it looks like it to me, I mean I never noticed any increase of any drop when hunting in 2x drop events)

this is very very wrong. it does increase all drops.

but even drop hunting is somewhat pointless with all the aliens roaming around.

They fixed the drop rate issue a while ago.

True, but some places lack Aliens. mini dungeons, hidden streets, and a lot of maps that appear to be "indoor" from what I've noticed (lower Ludi, lower aqua road)

Just to add-on, places like Masteria, World Tour, Singapore, Malaysia don't have the infestation of Aliens either.

Unfortunately, they're unaffected by the 10x equip drop rate introduced by the potential system.

It was bad enough last x2 event with trying to get a "Dex Alien free" OB4 map [apparently they spawn endlessly unlike the other 3], but geez...

Mmm, but monsters like Bains in Showa, or Dark Stone Golems, Zombie Mushies, Coolies in the Zipangu Cemetery have 10x equip drop rate. Mainly because they're "original" monsters that spawned in other places affected by 10x equip drop.

Cool, cool. WRs is gonna be full up so I doubt I'll be able to train my page, but at least I can go PoT hunt on my sair or somethin. I'd train at OB5 if I wasn't so terrified of Lyka.

Try out OB3. I dunno how alien-infested that map is on your server. It's pretty much alien free give or take 2-3 aliens at most over here, which you can wipe out if you kill them enough times to queue up the spawn timer.

I would play. Maybe if they would fix the Windows 7 issue I would. Until then moar World of Warcraft for me.

Doing this right when school starts is mugehh. But I think I'll have time anyway. If I can attend every event I can probably get my Paladin to level 149-151. And I'm leveling now for the reason Gunisblack stated; I like the idea of having more points to play around with before the Big Bang hits.

Levelling ALWAYS gets easier over time. Why did I even bother getting my first 3rd job character 5 years ago? It took me over a year. I should've just waited until now and done it in a week."Big Bang is coming out so screw levelling" is terrible logic.
