Hi,
I want to get myself some coax and optical cables, for the fun of audio. Does anyone have any ideas if there are good brands vs. better vs. best? Or should I just walk to Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc. and ask the people there?

Coaxial cables.... there pretty much one and the same. You can buy from Radio Shack, Target, Best Buy, Walmart etc etc.... its the same pomegranate.
As for Optical.... I dont know much about it, i kinda skipped Optical over the past years and went directly for HDMI.

I was asking for my MixAmp from Astro. I want better cables than the analog ones I have in place. There's no HDMI for the amp. Just a L & R, Optical, Coax, MP3 input, and USB for power. I'm using the L & R, but those are design for home theaters. I'm hooked up to my pc.

Optical, it should be a digital signal so it would be the best.

The manual states for best pc to amp connect to use both coax and optical. I'm going to go to RadioShack this Fri. and pick them up.
