I don't know if this is the same game as Ghost Online, but it's called Onidama in Japan. http://onidama.mgame.jp
Anyone want to play with me?
I'm downloading this sucker too. I'll add you as soon as I go online.

and wtp, Ghost Online still exists? I'm pretty late for this thread but still. My brother played it but I never tried it.
I agree that it's fun...up till Lv4x; after which it gets uber grindy...

AKA The Jumping Quest From Hell. I never got past the first gap due to constant lag.

Umm...if I could guess what the quests needed me to do in TENVI, do you think I could do the same for Ghost?

Yeah, easily.
Wellllllllllllllll............... I don't know. JP Ghost Online uses a lot more Kanji than I'm used to seeing in video games (as in, the stats aren't written out like "STR, DEX, LUK, INT," or anything like MOST Japanese games have it, they have them all in Kanji, just like Chinese versions of games). It kind of surprised me at first. That, on top of having to get used to the gameplay and interface, was kind of overwhelming at first. I'm sure once you get used to seeing it, it'll get easier to figure things out.

Ugh. TENVI had lots of hiragana and katakana, if I remember correctly. =.=
EDIT: Chinese, huh? I should be able to guess then.

Yeah, that's how most MMOs in Japan are, because they also try to catch the eye of younger players and younger players may not know more complicated Kanji and stuff.
That's how Dragonica JP is, too. It's very easy to read compared to a game like 鬼魂.

That's weird. That was happening to my friend as well.
God damn.... I can't find a single game to play. Every single game I've tried in the past week either has IP blocks to the point where they're unplayable or they're no longer in service. Most of them don't even have a US version and if they do, the US version is terrible. ._.

Uh... No need? For one, I've already stated what the JP text says.
Anywho... I found an interesting looking game. Kinos World is what it's called.

I guess I'll try it... 99% chance of there being an IP block, though. >_>

Yay!! There's no IP block on this game!
Anyone want to play with me? The game is fairly new and it's pretty tiny in data size. http://www.gmog.jp/kinos/
Registration is easy.
If anyone wants to join me, my in-game name is Justin.

Evan tutorial map: 鬱蒼とした森
Aquaroad: 深淵海峡
Mu Lung: 宝島の掠奪
Crimsonwood: 慙愧の洞窟, 羞愧の洞窟, 緩徐なる坂, 強禦なる道, 危殆なる道
Jipang hime map: 大仏との邂逅
Not sure where: 黄昏の黎明の間
Japanese MMOs try to make it child-friendly but often epic fail in the process. The kanji contained in these maps aren't even on the standard list of kanjis taught in schools; most adults wouldn't be able to read 'em.
[edited] I see no point playing s'hitty Japanese MMOs when you have WoW, RO, UO, etc. and XBox Live.

That name reminds me of 「キノの旅 -the Beautiful World-」(aka Kino's Journey). =.=
Yeah, I'm downloading it right after I post this message.
EDIT: LOLWUT. It even has an OP and AMV. =.=

I thought everything was looking cool until I saw gameplay. It does look cool though.

To be honest, I felt kind of gay and uncomfortable playing Kinos World. Maybe it gets better later on, so I'll hold on to it for while, but for now...
I was thinking about trying out Wonder King again, since the last time I played it was before the US version was released. Unforunately, I went to go play the JP version, since that's where I had a character built up, and they've shut the game down permanently. =/
Now I'm contemplating playing the US version.
