Gay, Straight or Bi?
Rob Wrote:I think the poll is pretty honest. Plus, known gays from the forum are all up there and I don't really doubt anyone that voted straight.

Comparing to the older thread, there are gay guys that aren't around anymore too.

I don't think the problem is honesty, I think it's willingness to respond.
I believe if the poll were private, we'd get more responses.
One might speculate that more gays (and bis and confuseds?) than straights are reluctant to respond to the poll as it is, but speculation is useless.

I'm not sure. Most of the gay guys here are on the poll. If they happen to be more numerous, I'd be surprised.. Aand, as I said, there are more gay guys, but most of them quit MS or Southperry altogether.

Most of the known gay guys here are on the poll. But we didn't need a poll to know about them.
There are several thousand southperrians whose sexuality we know nothing about - and they didn't respond to the poll, so we have learned nothing about them. Stands to reason that at least some of them are gay.

Yet only no more than 300 of all the members are actually active.

Oh, and you should take into consideration that of the 300-500 active members we have, a handful of them don't even visit the social section.

Everyone knows my sexuality now. >.>

Define "active".

Last I checked, there were about 900 - 1100 active members.

An "active member" is defined by a person that has logged in sometime in the past 14 days.

''Active'', as in active posters or the such. Hell, we all see the same 300~500 names everyday/every week.

That's an active lurker. An active member takes part in the forums. And also, of those 300 or so active members we have I bet only 1/3rd of them care enough to view any other part of the forum besides the Maple parts.

On topic: Umm...going by that spectrum I'd be average straight; rather than being vocal about me not being gay, I don't really give a damn and I would go like "Oh. Okay." when I see gays together. I used to feel more strongly about it, but no more.

I think male lesbian is just effeminate guys. "Herbivore males" might be the Japanese equivalent. "Slightly masochist" used to be the olde term :/

I understand that if something grabs my junk and starts doing pomegranate with it, it'll probably get erect.
Does that mean I want men to grab my wang, and would accept it if someone offered? No.[/COLOR]

I believe everyone gets an erection if their plantain gets stimulated unless they were actively repulsed by it. Case in point, if you blindfold someone, doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl because he can't tell.

Redundant adverb? /nazism

at first I was constantly logged off every half an hour or so. Now I check the "Keep me logged in" which keeps me logged in until I click "Log Out" which I see no reason to do. So many members might be just visiting the site and looking at extractions like any guest lurker would do but still be counted as "active" because of how the log-in system works. The correct measure might be "posted or sent a PM in the last 14 days" which would lead to a significantly smaller group. Past active forum members shouldn't be counted as currently active unless they're posting or sending private messages.

but it's getting off-topic.

The link says that "Male Lesbian" refers to guys who are straight, but strongly wish to be female. If they were female, they would be lesbian. But they're male, hence "Male Lesbian".

Most of the time there's a huge difference in the way the hands of men and women feel and are shaped.

That is untrue as Dual said.

That is untrue as Dual said.

I want to provide a counterexample but that would get me infracted.
