Eh, im like 4 episodes from the end of the first season of B Gata H Kei. Its decent, and the premise of it is ripe for jokes. I havnt seen many animes where the girl is the one after the guy, and ends up failing epicly, its usually the guy haphazardly winning out in the end. As for the art style, Im not really seeing anything wrong with it. I do sometimes find the sub characters jumping in to comment over the events annoying sometimes tho.

Yeah, that damn narrator annoyed me a lot. Sae's voice is a bit... =[ Could have been a little less annoyingly soft and high pitched. Gonna lol so hard if she breaks into a Kogami Akira voice (the cute version or the ugly version).

Amagami SS - 09 - Hello, this is a review for Sn1perJohnE on the anime Amagami SS! Its was a cute story, but it sure went by fast for Sn1perJohnE. The very soft spoken voice was both interesting and hard to get at times for him, but he watched on like a trooper. Sn1perJohnE also found that the narrator for the episode was interesting, and a nice change of pace, but feels it will grow boring fast if used much longer.


And if you cant tell im parodying the narrator, you fail.

I was busy watching other things, so I haven't checked anything out this season. Any recommendations?

I was watching Shakugan no Shana and liked it much more than I expected to, so I watched all of it. I'm not usually a fan of tsundere, but Shana has won me over. Shana-tans are great.

I also watched the first two seasons of Zero no Tsukaima (yes, mostly because it has the same two lead actors as Shana). The first one was... watchable, but there was a point during the last episode where everything that didn't make sense got to me at once and I started wondering what the hell I was watching. I literally started complaining at my monitor not even mid-way through the second season. This show seems to be really good at fooling me into thinking there will be major plot/relationship development, and then bringing back the status quo before the end of the episode. I think I'm just going to delete the 3rd season, because if I watch it I'm sure I'll have to kill myself in the most violent of ways.

Highschool of the Dead, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Mitsudomoe, Strike Witches 2, Asobi ni Iku yo! are my personal favourites. I'd recommend the first two at the least. Not sure if people would enjoy Mitsudomoe or Asobi ni Iku yo! as much as I do, but there's no reason to like pantsu Strike Witches 2. Zero no Tsukaima is pomegranate. Everyone who loves it so much is likely retarded. Ookami-san is average.

Asobi ni Iku yo! - 8 - Annnnnnnnd, another "eh" episode. It wasnt bad, but it could have been better. It just seems to me like theres less with every episode :c\

@KaidaTan: I recommend Seitokai Yakuindomo (SYD), Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!, Shiki, and K-ON!!

Shukufuku no Campanella isn't anything special and, if anything, it's draggy. I still watch it because I like it somewhat, but it doesn't make it onto my recommendations list.

SYD is nice enough to get on my list, but if you do plan on watching it please be mentally prepared for lots and lots of lewd jokes (not that I'm complaining :p).

Anyhow, I stumbled upon one of last year's anime:

Kanamemo - Been nice so far. I've just finished episode 2, and the events are rather different from the manga (the scans stopped halfway so I searched for the anime). It's not as funny as SYD, but it'll pass.

EDIT: Up to episode 3 now, and I'm glad to see they decided to expand on Kana's super freaky business smile. Her final, "Lighthouse" smile was pretty damn funny too!

Occult Academy 8: JK is cooler than what I thought from my first impression. I've probably said this before, but Mikaze is such a terrible character. She drags down Fumiaki with her; he would've been an decent character if he didn't interact with Mikaze. Also, (for when it happens,) when you reveal a good guy actually being a villain, the character has to be likeable enough for someone to care.

SYD 1-4: Almost missed out because I didn't pay attention to the name and thought it was just another harem anime. Aria reminds me too much of Mugi.

5-9: She's actually even crazier than Mugi. And the show is very funny.

K-ON 22: The cake looks good.

Strike Witches 9: I've never liked the going crazy when drunk thing, but I enjoyed the reactions.

Good choice. They're two of my favorite shows this season.

Hilarious. It was so funny to watch everyone get wasted.

I know it's a healthy part of anime and all and I like the way it's used in H.O.T.D. (just a little more than there should be, love it). But that special Sekirei: Pure engagement episode that just came out is just weird. People who watch the shows will get what I mean.

Im guessing fanservice out the yin yang? Really, its interesting that anime is one of the few shows that will treat its viewers with hot and racy imagery. Specially to those outside the US, where such a thing is pretty much non existent.

Paradise Lost: What happened? I'm too confused to even be disappointed.

Did I misunderstand or did Mr. Outside decide to prevent Akira from carrying out his plan just as he figured one out? He says it's an interesting method, but is he merely another one of those old men who wouldn't give up their responsibility and power even though he recognizes that they must? Who's the old lady who says "thanks, Saizo"? Is she III? And what of the other two Selecao who still haven't shown up? It was finally getting somewhere before Mr. Outside suddenly ended the game, too, so I don't understand the logic behind it. Also, I spent all that time watching them hijack the trailers and it turns out they aren't that important after all? I liked the conversation with Juiz though. I also enjoyed the reaction to Saki kissing Akira. The depiction of the black men with VI was not right.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls 1 - It has potential, but the ink blobs really got annoying.
