Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
#1
I know how Southperry feels about Golden Sun. So finally, after 8 years of waiting, we'll see the third chapter on Novemeber 29th!

Thought? I can't pineappleing wait!

Kotaku Wrote:Looks like we can stop wondering what's going on with Nintendo DS role-playing game Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Nintendo this morning said that the game will be hitting North American stores on Nov. 29.
Taking place 30 years after the events of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age for the Game Boy Advance system, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will drop players into a "planet-sized world of adventure to explore and conquer."
The game allows each of the playable characters to carry a Dijinn that gives the character special abilities. Players can collect more than 70 unique Djinn, granting them the ability to summon mighty deities who unleash devastating attacks that fill both Nintendo DS screens. Powers include flinging fireballs to burn away obstacles, freezing water to raise platforms, or summoning whirlwinds to create bridges out of floating objects.

So the psynergy and Djinn system are getting merged even more than the original? Sweet. Shame I don't have a DS

It's another example of brilliant writing by the kotaku team. *cough*

Talking about djinn

Jumped to summons.
Quote:Powers include flinging fireballs to burn away
Jumped to psynergy.

No they aren't getting merged at all, kotaku are just... well i'm pretty sure the one who wrote the article hasn't actually played any golden sun game

Time to start looking for a new job so I can afford it when it comes out. If I'm lucky I might find one within 2 months...

Former employer (temp-game testing) is very good at getting my hopes up then lying to me and ignoring me for months on end.

I wonder if they'll do some sort of "special" thing if you connect GS1 and GS2 to the GBA slot. I know it's a long shot, but I've seen some DS games do that to their GBA games, so it can't hurt to hope lol

DSi does not have that feature, so don't get your hopes up

Besides, I don't know of anyone who's kept those games after 8+ years.[/COLOR]

If I remember correctly, the field Psynergy mentioned are...

Quote:Powers include flinging fireballs to burn away obstacles,

Burst

Quote:freezing water to raise platforms,
Frost

Quote:or summoning whirlwinds to create bridges out of floating objects.

Cyclone

...?

I have both game cartridges, along with the Prima game guide. ._.

In case you wanna know, I played GS:TLA first then switched to GS so I could get game clear data to transfer over. I stopped GS:TLA at the entrance of the Mars Lighthouse...and never got around to completing GS...

I still have them lol
In fact, I still play them on a random basis as I've yet to get everything in GS:TLA, as far as ultimate equipment goes.

At most it'll be an item or 2...maybe, it won't be anything major, since the DSi (and 3DS) don't have GBA slots
