Do you plan to buy Pokemon black/white, or wait for grey?

Since ALL the pokemon games have 3 versions per generation, are you going to buy pokemon black or white, or wait for the eventual grey version to hit the shelves in a year after the b/w releases?

It's best to say the 3rd version since the official name hasn't even been released. I know you'll say, "but it makes the most sense", but you shouldn't...

Idk what I'll get. There' still not enough info on version exclusives and differences...

Pokemon Clear (3rd version).

I don't have a DS anymore, and probably won't have one for another year or so. I'll wait.

I'm going to buy White once it's released in Europe(maybe get a japanese rom of Black just to mess around with), and then the 3rd version once that comes out. I hope the 3rd version is for the 3DS, like they did with Mystery Dungeon. It would be a great way to move from one system to another.

why would you wait 2 years for a third version instead of playing one of the originals which, with the path pokemon has been going down, is likely to be radically different in terms of story.

platinum took forever to come out after d/p and ended up being changed a lot. i wouldn't expect anything less from the third game in this set, as the pokemon series only continues blooming.

When Gold and Silver came out for the second generation, many in Japan has guessed Pearl as the third version because of a famous jingle in Japan that went "Gold, Silver, Pearl presents" We were wrong. For all we know the name could be anything from Monochrome to Michael Jackson ("Doesn't matter if you're Black or White")

It's a brand new generation, with a Pokedex full of brand new Pokemon. What kind of fan would wait for the third iteration!?

you were basically right. it's not about not having anyone to play with, it's about it being cool, completely uncool, and then cool again.

Anyways, I'm going to buy both of them. I'll play as a girl on Black and a boy on White. As soon as I get both Reshiram and Zekrom, I'll trade them. Since I lost my original Nintendo DS for some reason, I will plan on getting 3DS.

I plan on getting Black on the release day, as I have for the last two generations. I might get the third version, it depends on if I'm still in the mood for Pokemon when it comes out or if I'll get bored of it again by then.
