I'm not sure whether this property still works on damage calculation.
So I ask my friend to test that on KMST.
max base damage: 1601
mob PDD: 155
mob PDr: 10
normal attack: max dmg: 1427
if pdd works, his damage would be (1601 - 155*0.5) * 0.9 = 1371
if not, 1601 * 0.9 = 1440.9 , seems very fit.
If that is right, it may be helpful on figuring out new formula from videos.
And need more test to confirm.

I'm calling this one plausible. I don't see the MDEF/WDEF calculation reduction anywhere yet.

It would make logical sense that they would be getting rid of PDDamage. Mob WDEF favors large single hits over tiny multiple hits. Removal of this stat from damage calculations evens the playing field.

True, but why did nexon give the monsters these variables then? If they were never going to use it, why did they bother to add it?

No. I believe there's a reason.
If you look at a table of all mobs sorted by level, you will notice that the EXP given per mob is not totally random. Mobs with the same level and health have the same EXP leading me to believe that this is a calculated value. Similarly, the values for PDD are set as calculated values.
