Katara and Shields?

In the Cash shop, when you equip a shield, it covers the katara. Would this work in-game? Could I buy a transparent shield will it cover my Katara?

I'm guessing no because if you try to attack with a CS shield on in the CS preview, you do a regular dagger attack and not the double attack.

I think it's more like "covering your other arm" instead of covering the Katara. I can put on a Poo Stick (1handed) while wielding my spear in the CS. But I'm sure we all know it will not let me equip it.

Hm, extremely lame. Guess we just got to wait like 2 years for them to come out with Katara covers. :/

It's not like the Kataras are terribly designed.

Welll i actually find most kataras pretty ugly, not because of its design but because of the fact the kataras dont fit with the daggers...
I really really really dont get why they didnt make DualBladers str thiefs like str bandits because the str daggers look about 100x better combined with a katara because the dagger and katara will both pointing sideways and not the katara pointing sideways and the dagger down.
