Have you ever tried salvia?

I've been experimenting with it for about 2-3 weeks now and i was wondering if anyone else here has done it. It's a really weird experience. I can't say i like taking full hits to the point where the trip is psychedelic, but mixing 4-6ish flakes in a marijuana bowl spikes the high so much it's insane. Pretty sure it's not bad for you to smoke it, but at the same time i have some qualms with smoking it regularly. It's been 3ish weeks and between 4 people, we've only gone through about 40% of a whole gram, which is impressive in my opinion considering this is the same group that's gone through 1 gram of weed a day. I think using salvia from time to time is helping me get away from really heavy weed smoking too, which is good.

@ above: I bought mine from a shop on the boardwalk. It's very much legal, lol. I'm not quite sure why they would censor it on TV though.

Never had shrooms and don't plan to but i can safely say they're nothing alike. Salvia is more like weed than anything else i think. You smoke it like weed (the "right" way is through a bong, with a jet lighter, and you hold the smoke for as long as you possibly can) but the quantity compared to weed is WAYYYYYYYYYYY less. For this you need 1 decent hit and you'll feel the effects almost immediately, while i need around 3-4 pipe bowls (or 3 bong bowls, or a single waterfall) of weed to get me nicely high. Not RIPPED, but high.

But that's not what salvia is for. o.o It's not a party drug, it's meant for use in complete darkness, by yourself, to trip alone. The reason salvia isn't illegal is because of a long history of religious use by those who wish to see visions and whatnot.

Still funny though. You should post the other video where he tries to karate chop a ton of coconuts. xD

Also, weed will be legal shortly after california makes it legal.

So to contribute more to the convo, I've never felt the need or desire to try any drugs.. which is somewhat surprising because 90% of my high school friends were all druggies. 2 of my best friends from grade 11 worked at subway just to pay for their weed ahaha. must really burn a hole in the pocket.

No drugs here either. If i'm gonna go screw myself over, i think i should try getting drunk first.

I honestly read it as "Saliva" and was like "wtp." Sorry, I'm not good at computers or real life social situations, so I wouldn't know about that. No I haven't.

It's more likely Weed will become legal, or at least decriminalized, than Salvia illegal.

Also, I'm strait edge, so nothin' like this for me.

I won't do any of this stuff cause I have seen a lot of people mess up their lives, whether the substance is legal or not. That's not to say I haven't been tempted though. My High school had A LOT of drug use. For example, during my senior year, there were 21 expulsions in the month of February alone due to drugs/alcohol.

I don't like being high, so no. Even if I wanted to, there was just a massive bust at an apartment complex near my school, so even if it is legal, none of my druggie friends have access.
