lolstatistics are nothing more than a joke for the purpose of going. Hey Bob, did you know what you just done had a blahblahblahblah.blah% chance of happening? Damn Hoss, those are some mighty crazy odds. True that Bob.
But I respect and honor your opinion anyway despite it being lolstatistics based, plus stopping here because it's offtopic. And I never said Christians weren't a huge majority.

Only if your sample is actually relevant to the population you're trying to extrapolate. You couldn't for example survey 3000 Germans on their attitudes and expect it to correlate to the attitudes in the USA.

You may have unintentionally implied by saying: "AND IN AMERICA? Pretty sure no religion wins over another here, cept for the eastern religions which aren't as popular, so you would have to choose more than one religion to pick the most popular religion IN AMERICA."
Christianity is a huge majority. Its the most popular, and it overwhelms so much that people won't let gays marry, and that their still trying to implement prayer in school.

apathetic atheist
i disbelieve in the existence of any supreme beings, but i dont make a point of ritualizing any of my beliefs the way many people do. i.e. ... praying, attending church / making pilgrimages, bashing a/mono/polytheists, donating to (lack of)faith-based organizations.
saying i am anti-organized religion might be a better qualifier. if i were to join any religious organization, i dont have much chance of rising to the top, which is where you need to be to reap any benefits besides inner peace from having a cause or something equally intangible.

A friend of mine is a strong believer of a "Star seed" mythos. It's got some pretty interesting stuff in it. I remain Deistic.

larmie Wrote:Hm. No Jews on the forum? *looks at avatar picture suspiciously* Let me phrase it the most gentle way I can for it not to count as beginning a religion argument:
The type of people we have on southperry are not the type of people which would believe in Judaism. In addition to that and without any direct relation to my previous sentence, the southperrian community tends to be intelligent.

That makes absolutely no sense, and is wrong.
There's at least one Jew I'm aware of on my contact list here on the site.

OP jinxed this thread by saying not to start any debates, because human nature generally tends to disobey explicit orders like that.
Honestly, I just go with whatever works for me.

Even though I am part Jewish I doubt I count since I don't practice Judaism.
