Can anyone confirm that "???" in maker works?

I know it involves ALOT of trial and error, but as far as I know no ones been successfull. =/

With that being in mind.

Hints in the maker quest say that it's possiable to create earrings and capes through the maker skill, but it doesn't say how. Which leaves me to ask another question, can Reversed/timeless earrings and capes be made with ??? if you have the right blueprints/ingredients?

I'm assuming the catagory is either broken or has a hidden equation of items that can be used to make other items.

EX: Team fortress 2 crafting.

I looked in the client for this. I saw the "???" added to the maker dropdown list, but any and all attempts to figure out what it did ended up in frustration. It must be SS.

He does mention that this is far from confirmed, but no info has ever been released about what the OP mentioned in the last 2 years.

Do we even have Timeless Earrings in our data yet? IIRC there was another version (JMS I think) that had the earrings. Might wanna PM Shikage or Aslemn and ask them.

Doesn't do anything at all. The original theory of forging other classes' gear is out because, aside from it not working if you attempt it, the recipes for all equivalent gear are more or less identical: Level 90 weapon would need the same amount of monster crystals and metal plates regardless of whether you're forging a Metus or a Hellslayer. I've tried other things with it (Mixes of different crystals in an attempt to create the Secret Crystal, ores to be refined into a gem, etc. And yeah as the others said, quest items are made in the ETC window, which for most classes only shows up when you're in posession of a recipe sheet, but is permanently visible for 3rd/4th job arans.

Yes we do. I have one of the only pairs in the game.

Nexon Korea has yet to expand on it. They obviously planned something, but never came through on it. Eventually. They're revamping the guild system, so they'll get to maker and monster book and all other sorts of things in the not far off future.

Not in the WZ files. I mean in the executable. How would I go about posting an extraction of an executable?

It's probably not even possiable to access the data anyway. The data could be held in the game's server database instead of the wz files. Meaning the only way to get any equation is to try to hack nexon which is a stupid thing to do, or go in blind by putting in just about everything you can think of and hope for a Lollipop.

There's at least 1 skill level that hasn't been released yet for equipment that's 121+(as per the mysterious 4th gem that's "x"ed out). I'm thinking it's just a place holder for something else and it'll probably come at the same time as the 4th level as part of a "Maker Revamp".

going by the pattern it'd be 45, 75, 105, 135. So they'd need to make a regular 130 set and then a 140 set for there to be a need for Maker level 4.
