So I take it they removed getting the bing equipment, but not the alien spawn. Greatttt

They removed the Mulung jars and placed Aliens. An Aran friend of mines can't advance/do his quests now. Good job Nexon.

I like the event but am in rage at the moment. All ToT maps are infested with aliens and I don't have any equips to let me hit them. Guess I have to wait a week before I can efficeintly train at OB4 again.

Yeah, this is WAY cool for those of us who had to afk an hour before server check.

I don't think you can even train "efficiently" at O4 or any popular map with all the alien spawn, or at least not as efficiently as before.

I still have a map for my level that is good exp. After using it for the next month I'm doubting that will be the case.

Yup.
If I don't wear Bing set, I can't hit the aliens, and as I kill the regular mobs they are replaced by aliens until there is nothing to train on.
If I do wear the Bing set (or at least one piece of it), I can hit the aliens, but since I do fixed low damage on them, they take me more hits than Chief Oblivion Guardians and totally throw off my rhythm. Also, since they give pitiful experience, the total experience one gets for clearing the map is greatly reduced.
This is far worse than the turkey invasion. The turkeys replaced only a few of the spawn, and died in one hit. The aliens replace it all, and take forever to die.

Guess I'll be training at skeles this month, if I train at all.

Are the aliens in Masteria? Since this event is supposedly GMS Exclusive, someone suggested that we should expect these fiends in Masteria. Anyone able to follow up on that?

I was going to hunt some more potential items, but by the sounds of this screw up, it isn't even worth touching Maple until the next SC.. I haven't tried to get on maple since it wouldn't let me on this morning, saying I should log onto the website. When I already was.

Disregard that, I just checked extractions on it has 18 Slots. I thought it was 12 like the Shoes and Gloves.

11 slots + 7 scrolled = 18?
I'm not sure what you'd mean missing otherwise.

I've used 4 on all my bing stuff, and a 5th on my armor, and I still didn't get it to transform.

As mentioned earlier, it might be level based.

Level 130 Buccaneer at +7 STR Cores and still no transformation.

@ Tespia players, how hard was the permanant crystanol to get? I wanna keep my set when I get it. Not because of the effects, but how they look. By the way, how does the gear work? How do you get the cells? Can I get another set of bing gear if it turns out I use a ton of the slots with the cells trying to get the gear I want?

Are there any non minidungeon places where they DON'T appear at? Also, is Stage 2 back up and running so I can at least get the equipment to hurt the aliens?

I don't think stage 3 and onward was open to Tespia players. So they don't know how to get the Crystanol or anything about the quests. Cells are obtained from an NPC and you buy them with OSSS medals.

By the way, how does the gear work? How do you get the cells?

You get the Bing Suit (looks like diving/mining gear) from Dr. Bing after completing a couple of Part II quests. Cores (Cells) are 100% "scrolls" that you buy off an NPC in the hideout for 50 OSSS Medals (which you get from quests).

I'm sure you can get another one. Dr. Bing tells me that if I ever lose the suit, he'll give me another one. But if you want to get a certain type of Visitor gear, just use the Core that it's based on (Luck Cores for Lucky Visitor, STR Cores for Powerful Visitor, etc) and after a while the Bing gear will transform into Visitor gear.

I don't think it's activated. : \

Do the aliens stop ruining maps after Stage 2 ends? I'm pretty sure there was Stage 3 in Tespia, with the cubes and all.
