Attention Maplers,

MapleStory is going through an unscheduled server maintenance. We currently do not have an ETA for the maintenance but we will post more information as soon as we can. Thank you.

It starts at 6PM PDT.

I heard a GM got hacked and they activated the stage 2 5 days early, any info on this?

yeah, some people from my bl/guild said hackers are crashing all maple server, someone else said hackers will do the "doomsday" and shut down maple lol.

Looks like the rollbacks really pissed someone off.

Didn't stage 2 start 1 day after Tespia's release? So maybe the starting times were copied and pasted and never changed to the 168 hours after the event started.

EDIT: Nevermind, the event's time for stage 2 got changed on purpose I guess.

But the original notice on the website was changed to 8/20 for Stage 2. So tht's utter garbage about Stage 2 unless the actual database is being hacked into.

...But then again, based on last time, maybe it's not such an impossible thought, but I still have a feeling hackers didn't open Stage 2 but Nexon did. But I know nothing of a GM being hacked or what CrazyNomad commented on. All I know is all this hacker crap has to seriously stop... it's just stupid and getting old. >_>

nah, they updated the website, and posted a notice on nexon's facebook page:

After the completion of the time machine, you will travel to the future to gather the energy source. Assuming you can do it, Dr. Bing will use the energy source to create an immensely powerful mechanical suit to eliminate the Visitors.

they currently do not have an estimated time of arrival for the maintenance...

Wow sp is starting to turn in to basil with all these hacking speculations. The servers were crashing put two and two together

I think it's to do with the servers. I unfortunately quit the game/restarted my PC(thought restarting would help the server load time) before I saved the screenshot of the server screen. It was all messed up with only channel 2, 5 and 15 having any people in it(not sure what server it was, I accidentally clicked the wrong server and it took FOREVER to get to the Bera screen. Bera looked like it was running fine though).

So I'm guessing server crashing. If I'm right, there is no chance Maple will be up and running in a small amount of time :S

saw in some forums, channel crash is back, and some people will do that everyday to take maple down.

can be only rummors though lol

I kinda think it's safe to assume that the major crashing was due to the sudden, unexpected activation of stage 2.

Im sorry to say that its not a rumor Lol Idk about the entire maple apocalypse but channel crash IS back.
