Unscheduled Server Maintenance for 08.20.2010

Dear Players,

We have discovered a small technical issue and we will need to perform an unscheduled maintenance on all MapleStory servers on August 20th. During this period, MapleStory will be unavailable. Game maintenance will last approximately two hours.

I was really impressed, a patch with no bugs, well this patch there's no bug at all, maybe they are fixing the enhancement exploit or the d/c issue some players are having doing the event quest.

2. Mega deletion of weapons
3. Nexon doesn't know whats happening
4. Nexon wants to promote the hackers to buy nx

Either Way I want 50k nx

And then suddenly, MapleStory had a Windows 7 compatible client. pineapple yeah.

Options 1 and 2 would take more time than 2 hours. Option 3 is most likely. Option 4 requires advertising budget, Nexon laughs at the idea of advertising budgets.

Also, Either way implies there is only 2 options.

I've been running MS on W7 since it came out.

I've been DCing every 30 minutes this patch, which was not happening before; it's definitely not bug-free.

And here I thought I must of lagged out, since I couldn't see the notice on the site. I restarted and everything Oh well. I had weird problems after beating some of the event quests that I'd get stuck at a black screen, after waiting 20 mins I force closed maple and restarted it. Thats about the only qualm I've come against so far. :f6: Oh well. Whatever the heck they're fixing it had better be something important 217 att claws..eesh

Woke up to this so I've just been doing other stuff. Can't wait for it to be over though, I really enjoyed the stage 1 missions and want to do them again. And I'm serious. :f6:

I just wish we could know what this "technical issue" is.

I hope for 15sec lag fix... they found where mistake was few days ago no? Or its too early to hope? =/

Lulz, considering the public reactions, one would think Nexon would realize that they should somehow fix those 200atk claws.

I think it's the spawn animation fix, but that's just me. I haven't seen any other problems myself.

they can't fix it with just a server check, they need to do a patch. and no, they didnt find it, just some GM posted on nexon forum hes going to make a report and send to the programmers.
expect the fix in 1 year or so.

^ Looking for that to be fixed, as well as the stupid GMPolice blocking(DCing) me for 'HACK reason' when all I'm doing is lagging(not my fault the new patch is laggy as hell). -_-

**Update!** The maintenance is taking longer than expected and has been extended by 1.5 hours. The maintenance is now schedueld to complete at 9:00 AM, August 20th Pacific Time (12:00 PM, August 20th Eastern Time.) Thank you for your continued patience.
