Post-BB Skillbooks

So I remember this question having been raised several times, but I never came across the answer. I guess I'll make it official.

1./ Do Mastery Books still exist after BB, at all?

2./ Do new skills get their own Mastery Books?

3.1/ Do the old equivalences of the new skills (Berserk for Dark Force, for instance) have their Mastery Book invalidated?
3.2/ Do the Max levels of the old skills get transferred over to new skills? I.e: If I have Berserk 30 now, after using Skill Reset, will my Dark Force's max level be 30, or 10?

I really hope this isn't the case. This would royally fk up my planned build

The old skillbooks are simply renamed to the skill that replaces them.
3.2/ Do the Max levels of the old skills get transferred over to new skills? I.e: If I have Berserk 30 now, after using Skill Reset, will my Dark Force's max level be 30, or 10?
If you have Zerk 30, you will now have Dark Force 30.

is it comfirm? So i presume im having brandish 30 skill before BB patch, so after the patch it automatically changed to Brave Slash 30 skill?

Depends, I guess, afaik the quests to obtain 4th job skills will be removed, so most likely each skill will come from a book?

Let's hope that those skills are given automatically upon advancement...it'll be a pain to hunt for those skillbooks.

yes. i really dun want to have to run all over the world to learn one skill

Let's say I have 30 ice splitter and 26 flamethrower. After the Big Bang, their maximum levels will be reduced to 20. What happens to the remaining skillpoints?

Only ones from zakum. All the other ones are given at the advancement.

They're set to 20 and you get the skill points.
It doesn't really matter, you get a full SP reset anyway.

Well you get a full SP reset. You just get all the SP back.
