Ladies and gentlemen, it seems a new exploit has just entered the building.
It's a good thing that everyone is using it. Instead of being smart and settling with 7-8 upgrades at most, dumbasses are gonna ruin it with 70+ enhanced items, which will probably get the HT-Pendant treatment.

I imagine that people will duey it as much as possible after insane-enhancing to avoid that issue.

Obviously, Nexon will have to fix this. I wonder if they will actually fix the real problem, or just put a cap on the number of enhancements possible.

But what will Nexon do with the items that have already been made? Maybe they can nerf them so they only have ~10 enhancements, similar to the hammered HTPs.

10? How about 1? That sounds fair for someone who is hacking.

Rolling each hacked weapon back to 10 enhancements would still be quite rewarding to the hackers. How many legit 10 enhanced weapons exist? If Nexon has the power to do so, they'll just outright delete them all.

This can't really be compared to the HTP incident. The HTP incident was entirely Nexon's fault for not remembering how HTP slots and eggs worked. Not only that, but it only involved one item, the HTPs. This Enhancement incident uses hacks, and it appears that it's being used on many different types of weapons. I don't think Nexon has the ability to roll each and every hacked weapon back.

"If Nexon goes roll back, I might have to kill myself... D:" *points to iSugarCoated's smega in the picture*

Seriously, these hackers are getting out of control.

I'm more amazed that someone had actually thought of committing suicide over this, assuming he/she wasn't bluffing about the suicide threat.

People finally started doing it on Mardia today. At least to the point that it broadcasts.

I must be quite tired right now, when I first read the potential on the Red Craven I thought it said "3% chance to recover 28 MP when hacking" made me chuckle a bit.

But that would give nexon money! that destroys the point of being a hacker!

p.s. ^% attack AND 6% total damage or better 12% total damage.

Seriously, Nexon doesn't appear to give not one fuck anymore. Look at the past events and how long it took for them to just patch that. Terrible management/bureaucratic system.

Does this mean the patch didn't stop the hacking? not even delay it? o.o

It changed the packets. Script Kiddies can't use it - the v88 version was released yesterday - but any competent hacker can use it.
