No children would make me feel like my life ultimately has no lasting effects and I want to be remembered - like many others. Having one child would suck. Three could be hard to control and makes me feel like I'm only making the population issue worse. Two would be fine: Distribution of genders isn't important, so long as they don't suffer Only-Child Syndrome.

Teach 5 year-olds Python. Yea.

My boyfriend and I both don't want kids for the same reason; we'd probably suck at taking care of a kid AND we don't want to deal with kids under the age of 10. o_- We don't have that kind of patience. Sad I mean, yes, they're adorable but most of it has to do with the fear of messing up.

It's called tubal ligation. But you're being too much of a nitpicker, it's perfectly fine to say getting neutering for either males or females.

Male dogs are neutered. Female dogs are spaded.

I'm not sure whether or not I want children. On one side, it will bring the female a nine to ten month burden, and for the first few years, I won't be able to sleep well with a live Furby crying in the middle of the night. On the other hand, I know that having children will pretty much almost permanently bond me to the female.

I'm a twin myself, and I rather disagree with the whole "getting along better" thing. Me and my brother don't get along in the least. That whole situation is mostly dependent on how the two are raised and just their personalities in general.

BUUUT on topic. I'd like 2 kids myself. No more, no less. Maybe a couple years apart. maybe not. Dunno, I'm turning 20 in less than a week, so I'm not too concerned about stuff like this yet...

Yeah, definitely doesn't help them get along. My brother and sister are fraternal twins, and they pretty much hate each other.

Maybe someday.

Probably just 1. Mainly because I suck with kids and don't really like them in general. I like some kids, but I think I wouldn't be able to handle 2. Plus, me with my sister, I would want to be an only child. =P

Hope to mold my kid into someone who's not a douche and can handle him/herself. That would be awesome.

It doesn't matter with you because you don't even want a female.

i should note that you've gotta be careful about the gap in age between kids. my sister and i are 12 years apart, and yeah we get along most of the time, and maybe its just that she's a spoiled brat but we've butted heads before over shi't.

This. I've always wanted a twin cause they seem to get a long a lot more of the time than siblings. Having a sister is also different than having a brother. Personally i think i would have liked a twin sister when i was younger. Would have made middle school a lot more bearable Sad

Kids later down the line when i can support a family, but right now, i don't think i'd be able to handle it. *statement implies i can get a girlfriend* xD
