Potential-ed Skills Questions

Well I just got the 'decent haste' skill on my lvl 80 mage shoes. It even works when my shoes are not equipped or are in storage. Tried asking the following questions on basil but got no definitive answers . My questions are:

1. if I sell the shoes, will the buyer permanently get the skill?
2. if I sell the shoes, will I lose the skill?
3. does whoever had a chance to equip/hold them get the skill permanently?
4. if i cube the shoes, will I lose the skill? (decent (lvl 10) haste is nice but +9% INT may be more useful for me)

basically, haing an equip with a skill makes said skill available in your beginner skillbook. if you map it to a key you can keep using it regardless of it being in the skillbook or not

And it's a glitch, abusing it is against the rules.

I've heard you get to keep the skill as long as you have anything equipped to said equip slot.

thx bud. In what case would the skill disappear from the skill book? I still have the skill shown in the skill book when the equip is in storage or is un-equipped. Weird also about that glitch. So I'd only lose the skill if I have no shoes equipped at all? That's kinda idiotic....but why not.

I'm sure it's a glitch but they haven't done anything about it even in KMS and it's not terribly gamebreaking so I wouldn't bring "the rules" into this.

I'd keep the shoes and just make new ones o_o This gives you haste when you need it if they ever "fix" said issue. I personally would like haste shoes, but my buccaneer can't wear them without getting +15 dex tha i have now =x
