My Art Teacher Died

1st Period on the 1st day of school, I take a seat next to some Freshmen because I don't know anyone in this class. "What's Mrs. Rosenrotburge doing here? She teachers the other Art Class. And the Assistant Principle? I'll lol if our teacher died."

"We have some very sorry news for all of you. Last week your teacher, Mr. Baume, passed away" <some more stuff about grief counselors>

What is this I do not even.

Almost this same exact thing happened to me in middle school. 'cept the art teacher had died that very morning. Did the freshman actually laugh? Or did he just have that look on his face like it was his fault?

The two of them spent the entire class period doing enough work to not get in trouble, but were otherwise quiet and un-engaging.

No one in the room had the b'alls to laugh at a teacher's passing with the AP in the room.

One of our substitute teachers had a heart attack, and fell down the stairs while having it. He died later that day. He fell down the stairs while the entire school was being dismissed.

This. Except replace have with had. I learned everything I know about drawing and painting from books. Had a music teacher a couple of times but I got the same damn percussion instrument every time. I freaking owned the stick and wood instrument man. Totally owned it.

Did you have any relationship with her? If not just carry on and say your respects to whoever was hurt by it. And really, I have no idea why this is in the Funhaus, this is not fun in any way.

I never knew him. If I ever saw him, I didn't attach the name to the face. That's why it's in the Funhaus.

A lot of teachers got married at my schools I went to in the US. Only our jr high principal died and because the new principal was so cool everyone forgot about the old one.

[edited] Now that I think about it my art teacher Ms. Valencourt got sick and left. Looked sick but didn't act like it. Not sure if she's now dead.

My jr high principal died several years ago, when I was in 7th grade, and my new one was a bitch.

Like 3 years ago, after I graduated, I found out my History teacher had died of a heart attack. He was one of my favorite teachers too. :<
