Deadline Announcement (Apr 14, 2008): - UPDATED
I've been receiving some PM's asking about the purpose of these deadlines. The purpose is to confirm as many of the skillbook and mastery guide locations as possible while still revealing relevant information for the present. Here's how this works:
Bold and colored submissions (confirmed by screenshot) will never be removed.
There are four exceptions:
(1) Storybook locations will never be removed
(2) Horntail drops [unless found by another mob] will not be removed.
(3) Should the monsterbook data be released to GMS, any information found in the that data will replace the findings shown here.
Another note dealing with submissions: When you make a submission, please be overly specific about which book you received and where you got it from. For example, "I got Monster Magnet 20 and Advanced Combo from Pianus" would be a very poor submission. Is the Advanced Combo the skillbook, or is it the level 20 or level 30 mastery guide? Which side of Pianus? I had to reject a few submissions today because they were too vague.

1. What is a skillbook? How does it work with fourth jobs?
Unlike previous job advances, you are not able to allocate SP to every single skill. Instead, you have two different types of skills: core skills and non-core skills. Initially, you can only allocate up to 10 points in your core skills and up to 0 points in your non-core skills. In order to allocate points into your non-core skills, you will need to obtain a skillbook. A skillbook is a usable item which allows you to allocate up to 10 points into a non-core skill. You do not need a skillbook for your core skills because you can already allocate the first 10 points to those skills initially.
2. So what are the core skills for my class? Hero: Monster Magnet, Achilles, Brandish Paladin: Monster Magnet, Achilles, Blast Dark Knight: Monster Magnet, Achilles, Beholder
F/P Archmage: Big Bang, Mana Reflection, Paralyze I/L Archmage: Big Bang, Mana Reflection, Chain Lightning Bishop: Big Bang, Mana Reflection, Holy Shield
Viper: Dragon Strike, Blood Fist, Wind Booster Captain: Elemental Amplification, Advanced Homing, Support Octopus, Rapid Fire
Also, all classes technically get "Maple Hero" as well. You are granted the skillbook for this skill when you complete the fourth job quest.

3. Okay, so how do I get skillbooks for my non-core skills?
Most skillbooks can be obtained through fetch quests. Many of these quests will have you running between all of your different job instructors, and a few of them will have you doing jump quests or PQs. Also, you can find some skillbooks dropping from boss monsters, such as Triple Throw (Zakum) or Angel Ray (Zakum). Finally, some quests require that you hunt for a storybook before you even attempt to begin the skillbook quest. So, it really varies.
4. What is a storybook? How is it different from a skillbook?
A storybook is an item that you can find from non-boss monsters, such as Lucidas or Grim Phantom Watches. Storybooks allow you to begin the quest to obtain the skillbook. A skillbook allows you the ability to allocate SP to the first 10 levels of a non-core skill. Even though these two words may look alike, they are not the same thing!
5. Why bother wasting time with the fetch quests? I'll just buy the skillbooks.
Sorry, but the skillbooks cannot be traded, bought, sold, or put into storage. Storybooks and mastery guides can be bought, traded, and sold, though.
6. Woah, hold on. Skillbooks can't be traded? What if someone picks up my skillbook during a Zakum run that can't even use the book?
Tough luck.
7. You were talking about mastery guides, what are those?
In order to allocate more than 10 points into a skill (whether core or non-core), you have to find level 20 and level 30 mastery guides. To use the level 20 guide, you must have at least 5 points in the skill before you use it. To use the level 30 guide, you must have the at least 15 points in the skill before you use it.
Unfortunately, Maple Story likes to make things even more difficult. Level 20 mastery guides have only a 70% chance of success, and level 30 mastery guides have only a 50% chance of success. Sucks, huh? At least the skillbook has a 100% chance of working.
8. Oh no! What if a mastery guide fails when I use it?!
Relax, your skills don't have "slots" like normal weapons. You can use mastery guides on your skills as much as you like.
Just to recap all of the terminology used here: Core Skill - A skill that already has an initial maximum SP level of 10. No skillbooks are required to unlock these. You will be able to allocate points to these skills immediately after you advance to the fourth job. Mastery Guide - A special, usable item that lets you increase the maximum SP level of a skill to 20 or 30, with a 70% and 50% success rate, respectively. Non-core skill - A skillbook is necessary to unlock these skills. Skillbook - An item which works like a scroll. This will allow you to allocate the first 10 points to a skill. These cannot be traded or put into storage. Storybook - Special drop from non-boss monsters that allows you to begin the quest for a skillbook

Common Quest Information

Advancing to Fourth Job Pre-Requisites: Level 120, third job
Talk to your 3rd job instructor in El Nath to begin the quest.
Keep talking to your instructor until you receive a quest to obtain two special items for the fourth job instructor to advance.
If you like to hunt, go kill a Manon and Griffin to get the Heroic Star and the Heroic Pendant. After hunting down these monsters and obtaining the two items, skip to step 6.
Otherwise, if you have 10 million mesos, continue with step 3
Now head to Leafre and talk to the Village Chief. He will ask you for a very special scroll
Head over to Eos Tower 44th floor to buy the scroll from the npc for 10m
After you are done go back to the Village Chief from Leafre. He will give you the a Heroic Star and Pendant.
Now go to your 4th job instructor
Give the 2 items to the instructor to complete the quest. The instructor will advance you to fourth job, grant you the skillbook for Maple Hero, and give you 3 SP and 5 AP.
Mount - Hog Pre-requisites: Level 70, third job
Go to Aqua Road and talk to Kenta. She wants you to collect 5 books and 5 crystals.
Talk to her again to enter a special arena.
In this arena will be a hog that you have to protect. During this protection quest, the hog will randomly drop the 5 crystals. The other 5 books you must collect by destroying treasure chests (a la Zakum PQ) throughout the map. If the 5 minute timer runs out before you have all of the items or if the hog dies, you will be sent out of the arena to do the quest again.
After successfully completing step 3, talk to Kenta again. She will give you the Mount skill, 32k experience, and a saddle.
Talk to Kenta again, and she'll give you another quest to obtain a special purple potion.
Go to the Village Chief in Leafre and purchase the potion from him for 20 million mesos.
Return to Kenta and she will give you the quest to obtain your hog.
Go to a special map near Korean Folk Town.
The hog spawns just like a boss monster (e.g. Jr. Balrog or Mushmom). Once you see the hog spawn, double-click on the purple potion you bought to catch it.
A couple of notes about the hog...
The hog has 150% speed and 120% jump
It has an energy level of 100 and a fatigue level of 5. Every 10-15 seconds, your energy level is drained by the fatigue level.
You have to buy a special potion from the pet food sellers for 1k each to regenerate your pig's energy level.
Your pig has experience points and can level up just as normal pets do. It is unknown whether leveling up your pig will give any added bonuses, but you do need a level 3 hog to advance it to a Mane at level 120.
Mount - Silver Mane Pre-requisites: Level 120, fourth job, Mount - Hog quest completed, hog must be level 3 or higher
Talk to Kenta from Aqua Road. She will give you a quest to collect the following:
600 Rexton Leather
400 Wooden Shoulderpads (Green Cornian)
400 Skull Shoulderpad (Dark Cornian)
Go back to Kenta once you have collected the items. For a special fee of 50 million mesos, she will reward you with the Silver Mane.
The Mane works the same way as the hog, except for...
Pig --> Boar
Fatigue level 5 --> Fatigue level 3
150% speed --> 170% speed
Maple Warrior
After finishing the fourth job quest, your fourth job instructor grants you the skillbook for Maple Warrior.
Hero's Will
First off, talk to Chief Tatamo in Leafre to begin the quest. He will ask you to talk to Carta the Sea Witch.
Head to Aqua Road Dungeon and talk to Carta the Sea Witch
Talk to Carta the Sea Witch again to receive the quest from her. She asks you to collect 40 courage pieces in a special arena of hers. Now there should be another option in the Carta the Sea Witch's dialog box after you talk to her again. Select this new option (it should be the bottom one) to enter a special arena. You need to be in a party to enter the map, so just make yourself the party leader and enter. You need one Pianus statue to enter the arena for every time that you enter.
Inside the map you will find 3 types of monsters: Bone Fish, Sharks, and Gobies. Every monster you kill inside the map has a chance drop one of the 40 pieces you need. If you can't collect all forty pieces within the time limit, you can re-enter the map.
After you exit the map, talk to Carta the Sea Witch again.
Keep talking to her until you receive another quest
Go talk to Eurek the Alchemist. He'll ask you to collect:
Ragged Wristband (Griffey)
10 Mithril plates
Return to Fu and give him the broken ring and the 10 Mithril plates. He will give you a Mithril Wristband.
Head back to Aqua Road and talk to Carta the Sea Witch to finish the quest. She will give you the potion. Use the potion to acquire the skill.
Monster Magnet Description: Charge up your skill to forcibly draw a group of up to 6 enemies toward you. The longer you charge the skill, the more enemies will be pulled. Animation:Monster Magnet Max Level: 30

Common
Rush:
Hunt for the storybook from Taurospears ("Indecipherable Book"). Once you obtain the storybook, a quest will appear in your quest log.
Now that you have the storybook, head to Manji in Perion to begin the quest. He'll ask you to hunt 200 Taurospears in a special map.
Now travel to Sleepywood Dungeon and find the map Sanctuary Entrance 3. In order to enter the special map, you will need the following: a party of 2 members where you are the leader, and your teammate must be a 4th job warrior.
Once the party is formed, go to the middle portal in Sanctuary Entrance 3. Kill 200 Taurospears in this map before the timer runs out. As long as you have 2 people, you can enter this map after this quest is finished.
After you finish killing them head back to Manji in Perion to complete the quest.
Power Stance:
Hunt for "Crimson Balrog's Proposal" storybook from a Crimson Balrog, then talk to your 4th job instructor.
Now talk to Spiruna found in Cloud Park in Orbis. Give her the "Crimson Balrog's Proposal".
She will ask you to hunt for Lycanthrope's Plans from (you guessed it...) Lycanthropes.
Talk to your fourth job instructor again.
Venture to El Nath and talk to your 3rd job instructor. He will give you another quest to find a Gold Medal.
Enter the El Nath PQ and complete it successfully to obtain the Gold Medal.
Return to your fourth job instructor, and he will trade you a skillbook for Power Stance for your Gold Medal.
Guardian: - Paladins and Heroes only
Go to (Leafre : Forest Crossroad) and talk to the NPC at the top of the map. He will give you a wooden shield and tell you to hunt 200 Dark Kentaurus in his arena.
With a shield equipped, talk to him again and select the option to enter the arena. (NOTE: If you are not wearing a shield, you will die instantly once you enter the arena!)
Kill some Dark Kentaurus, then leave the arena through a portal. The shield will not be taken from you.
Talk to the NPC at the top of the map again to re-enter the arena and kill some more Kentaurs.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 as necessary to kill 200 Dark Kentaurus.
Talk to the NPC again to finish the quest. You will lose the shield initially given to you, gain a level 120 shield, and gain the skillbook for Guardian.
Hero
Advanced Combo Attack:
Defeat Zakum to obtain the skillbook. No quest is necessary to do this.
Enrage:
Talk to Librarian Wiz to begin the quest. He will give you a blue book and ask you to take it to Village Chief Totamo in Leafre.
Take the blue book to Chief Totamo. He will ask you to search for a necklace which was stolen by Griffey.
Hunt Griffey until you obtain Sayram's Necklace.
Return to Totamo with Sayram's Necklace. He will give you another quest to talk to "The Insignificant Being" in Sleepywood Dungeon.
"The Insignificant Being" will tell you to find a shield and a key, and return it to Librarian Wiz.
Kill a Jr. Balrog to obtain the key.
Now go to Sanctuary Entrance 4 and enter the middle portal. You must have the key to enter.
Find the shield inside this arena before the timer runs out.
Return to Librarian Wiz with the key and the shield to obtain the Enrage Skillbook.
Paladin
Advanced Charge:
Kill Zakum for him to drop the skillbook. No quest is required to do this.
Heaven's Hammer:

Talk to the 4th job instructor to begin
Talk to a scuba diver inside one of the ships at Sharks. He will ask you to hunt for 10 Shark's Teeth.
Return with 10 Shark's teeth to the Scuba diver, and he will give you the Holy Grail.
Bring the Holy Grail to Chief Totamo of Leafre. He will ask you to talk to Moira in the Horntail Cave.
Moira will give you another quest, which requires you to gather the following:
Cornian's Marrow (Green Cornian)
Skull Mask (Dark Cornian)
Manon's Cry (Manon)
10 Tough Dragon Skins (Red Drakes, copper drakes, Dark Wyverns)
Broken Dagger (Dark Cornian)
Talk to Mos to have him fuse the old dagger with the items to create a new dagger.
Gather a party of 6 people and venture back to Moira to transform yourself into a Green Cornian in order to enter the cave below. The cave has five different stages, each of which contains a key. You need to acquire key from a stage in order to progress to the next stage. The last stage should contain Skelosaurus. After you complete the last stage, look to the right of the scheduler to find a fountain. Double click on the fountain to fill your Holy Grail. Click here for a video on the Horntail Quest.
After finishing Moira's quest, go to Orbis Tower, floor number 8 to receive the skillbooks for both Holy and Divine Charge.
Dark Knight
Berserk:

By returning the scroll, Flo will give you +5 for Aura of the Beholder
Flo will now ask you to destroy 200 Master Death Teddies. Afterwards, talk to him again, and this time he'll have you hunt 500 more Master Death Teddies. It's probably best to get all 700 at once. For each time you return MDT ETC items, you get +10 to Aura of the Beholder
Hex of the Beholder:Continue repeating the quest until you have a maximum of 25 points in the skill
Talk to your 4th job instructor to begin.
Go to Ludibrium and talk to Flo. He will ask you to hunt for a strange scroll.
Kill Gatekeepers to receive your strange scroll. Return to Puro/Flo with the item in hand.
Once you return to Flo, he will immediately give you +5 to Hex of the Beholder.
Flo will now ask you to get 200 Vikings ETC items. Afterwards, talk to him again, and this time he'll have you get 500 more ETC items. It's probably better to get all 700 at once. For each time you return Viking ETC items, Flo will give you +10 Mastery level to Hex of the Beholder

Travel to Korean Folk Town and talk to Librarian Wiz. Continue talking to him until he tells you to talk to your 1st job instructor

Next , go to the Goblin in El Nath
Go back to your 1st job instructor
After that, go back to the Goblin again
Talk to your 3rd job instructor
After that, talk to Shammos. He will ask you for the "Eye of Fire" (Yes, the same one you use to summon Zakum)
Once you collected the Eye of fire head back to the goblin to complete the quest
Fire Demon:
Find the Burning Book of Fire Storybook from Red Kentaurus
Once the Burning Fire of Fire storybook book is found, talk to your 4th job instructor
Your instructor will asks you to talk to Grendel in Ellina
Then Grendel will ask you to also head to Nath and talk to 3rd job instructor
Your instructor will ask to to talk to Adobis in Zakum Dungeon. He will send you to Vogan
Vogan will asks you to make an Orihalcon Hammer. Collect the following items:
1 Star Rock
2 diamond
30 Firebomb Flame (Jr. Effy)
Once done , talk to Adobis to do a mini jump quest (pick last option)
Drop the empty bottle into the volcano. It will spit back out a bottle of lava. Use the bottle and you will learn Fire Demon
Elquines:
Pre-Requisite: Already obtained the Fire Demon skill
Talk to Alcaster in El Nath. He'll ask you to collect
30 of item X (Ice Drake)
30 of item Y (Cold Shark)
40 of item Z (Grim Phantom Watch)
Return to Alcaster with the items and he will fail the experiment. He'll then ask you to talk to Huckle in Orbis Tower.
Huckle then will refer you to Hughes in Aqua tower
Hughes will ask you to collect the following:
10 Orihalcon plates
5 Adamantium plates
5 Mithril plates
Purse of Soul
To create Purse of Soul, go back to Huckle who will ask you to collect the following:
50 Free Spirit (Master Soul Teddy)
30 Binding Bridle (Master Death Teddy)
50 Evil Spirit (Dark Klock)
30 Summoning Rocks
Return back to Huckle and give him the aforementioned items to obtain the Purse of Soul.
Return to Hughes once you have collected all the items and he will create skeletal frame for your summon.
Head back to Alcaster who will tell you that Ice Soulstone is needed to complete the summon. He will tell you to talk to Flo in Ludibrium
Flo tells you that Ice Soulstone can be obtained from Elemental Thanatos that live in the Ethereal Realm.
Note : you need a party to two Archmages to enter the realm (preferably one ice/lit and one fire/poison)
To access the realm he needs Ethereal Key which he lost to Gatekeeper. Kill a Gatekeeper to get the key.
Return the key to Flo, who will then transport you to Ethereal Realm where the Elemental Thanatos dwell. (NOTE: the realm can be re-entered!)
Two types of Thanatos spawn in the map at a time, one fire-type and one ice-type .Take each one down and continue to do so until you get the Ice Soulstone.
Take the Ice Soulstone back to Alcaster and you have completed the quest

Head to your 3rd job instructor to begin the quest
Travel to Korean Folk Town and talk to Librarian Wiz
Then head over to your 1st job instructor
Next , go to Shammos in El Nath in the house with the 3rd job advancement instructors, he's in the basement of the building.
Go back to your 1st job instructor. Speak with him until he stops yapping on and on and...
After that, go to Shammos again
Talk to your 3rd instructor
After that go back and talk to Shammos. He will asks you to hunt a "Cold Heart of a Wolf" (confirmed drop from Lycanthropes)
Once you collected the frozen heart head back to Shammos to complete the quest
Ice Demon:
Hunt for the Frozen Book of Ice Storybook from Blue Kentaurus
Once the frozen ice book is found , head over the your 4th job instructor
Your instructor will asks you to talk to Grendel in Ellina
Then Grendel will ask you to also head to Nath and talk to 3rd job instructor
Your instructor will ask to to talk to Jeff (the gatekeeper in El Nath Mountains). Jeff will then send you to Vogan.
Vogan will ask you to create an Orihalcon Hammer. To create the hammer, collect the following:
1 Moon Stone
2 Orihalcon Plate
30 Ice Pieces (Grim Phantom Watches)
Once done , talk to Jeff and enter a new area (pick first option)
Inside talk to the ice to gather up the liquid from it. Use the new bottle you obtain to gain the Ice Demon skill
Ifrit:
Pre-requisite: Already obtained the Ice Demon skill
Talk to Alcaster in El Nath. He'll ask you to collect the following:
50 Firebomb Flames (Jr. Effy)
10 Kentaurs' Flame (Red Kentaurus)
10 Small Flaming Feather (Blood Harps)
Return to Alcaster with the items and he will fail the experiment. He'll then ask you to talk to Huckle in Orbis Tower.
Huckle then will refer you to Hughes in Aqua tower who will ask you to collect the following:
10 Orihalcon plates
5 Adamantium plates
5 Mithril plates
Purse of Soul
To create a Purse of Soul, go back to Huckle who will ask you to collect the following:
50 Free Spirit (Master Soul Teddy)
30 Binding Bridle (Master Death Teddy)
50 Evil Spirit (Dark Klock)
30 Summoning Rocks
Return back to Huckle with the aforementioned items in hand to get the Purse of Soul
Return to Hughes once you have collected all the items and he will create skeletal frame for your summon.
Head back to Alcaster who will tell you that Fire Soulstone is needed to complete the summon. He will then ask you to talk to Flo in Ludibrium.
Flo tells you that Fire Soulstone can be obtained from Elemental Thanatos that live in the Ethereal Realm.
Note : you need a party to two Archmages to enter the realm (preferably one ice/lit and one fire/poison)
to access the realm he needs Ethereal Key which he lost to Gatekeeper. Kill a Gatekeeper to get the key.
Return the key to Flo, who will then transport you to Ethereal Realm where the Elemental Thanatos dwell. (NOTE: the realm can be re-entered!)
Two types of Thanatos spawn in the map at a time, one fire-type and one ice-type .Take each one down and continue to do so until you get the Fire Soulstone.
Take the Fire Soulstone back to Alcaster and you have completed the quest
Find the Black Book from Grim Phantom Watches or Coolie Zombies. Go visit your 4th job instructor to begin
Your instructor will ask you to head to Aqua Dungeon and talk to Carta the Sea Witch
When you talk to Carta the Sea Witch, she will give you a quest for you to collect the following:
100 ice shards (Grim Phantom Watches)
50 firebomb flames (Jr. Effy)
5 Undead Charms (Zombie Mushroom)
After your done collecting the items, go back to Carta the Sea Witch and she’ll reward you with a Cold Flame. Talk to her again to continue your quest.
Carta the Sea Witch will ask you to travel to a hidden cave in the bottom left of Dangerous Sea Gorge II. Once inside this cave, drop the Cold Flame and the Black Bible into the pot that you find there.
When you head back to Carta the Sea Witch, she will then ask you to talk to The Rememberer in Sleepywood
Now talk to The Remeberer for another mission. He’ll ask you to travel to Forgotten Passage in Ludibrium. Once you are at Forgotten Passage, go to the middle door with a faint, blue outline. Only 1 person may enter the arena at a time.
Enter the realm and you have 20mins to find your way out
Go back to The Rememberer after your done and you will gain your Resurrection skillbook.
Genesis: - You do not need to kill Horntail to get this skill even though this quest requires you to do HTPQ
Head to your 3rd job instructor to begin the quest
Travel to Korean Folk Town and talk to Librarian Wiz
Then head over to your 1st job instructor
Next , go to the Goblin in El Nath
Go back to your 1st job instructor
After that, go back to the Goblin again
Talk to your 3rd job instructor
Talk to Shammos in El Nath to begin the next part of the quest. He will ask you for an item called "Life's Root"
Travel to the Cave of Life - Entrance to get the Life's Root.
In order to enter Life's cave or Cavern you’ll need do the Horntail quest
Talk to Moira in the mountainous area. She will ask you to find the following:
Cornian's Marrow (Green Cornian)
1 skull mask (Dark Cornian)
Manon's Cry (Manon)
10 Tough Dragon Skins (Red Drakes, Copper Drakes, and Dark Wyverns)
1 busted dagger (Dark Cornian)
Next find Mos to fuse a new dagger. You'll need:
The busted dagger
1 Steel Plate
1 Mithril Plate
Go into the Horntail Party Quest and find Life's Root from a random enemy
Travel back to Shammos to finish
Angel's Ray:
Get the skillbook from Zakum. No quest is required.

Head to Kerning and talk to your 2nd job instructor
Keep talking to him. he'll give you a quest to defeat 6 ninjas
Talk to him once again to enter an arena. Defeat the 6 ninjas in the arena before the 20 minute timer runs out. If you die or don't defeat all 6 ninjas, you must restart the quest.
Once you finish, head out of the arena.
Talk to the 3rd instructor to finish and receive your skillbook

This skillbook is obtained from Zakum. No quest is necessary to do this.
Ninja Storm:
Find the "Unknown Letter" storybook from Dual Ghost Pirates.
Now travel to Ludi : Cloud Balcony (Go to Terrace Hall and continue going left until you reach it).
Once you get there, use "The Sealed Letter" and you will be transported to another map. Someone there will refer you to Orbis to find a marble. Click on the orb in the Maple Leaf on the roof of the Guild Palace.
After your done, travel back to the Cloud Balcony
You will be told to hunt for three items to hunt for 3 items: Blue Tornado (Boogies from 1st body Zakum), Dark Hole (Thanatos), and Griffey Wind (Griffey)
Once you collect all the required items, travel to Leafre
Talk to your 4th job instructor to finish.
Shadower
Smokescreen:
Lucidas should drop the "Formula for Black Cloud" storybook that you need to begin the quest
Once the book is found, check your quest log. A new quest should appear in there about the Mad Scientist
Travel to aqua tower and talk to Hughes to continue the quest.
Keep talking to him to receive another quest from him. He asks for the following:
A fan
a battery
100 Ink Bottle (Squid)
20 refined steel plate
10 propellors (Dual Ghost Pirates)
50 screws
50 gears (Chronos)
Another quest should appear in your quest log stating that Kay, the engineer, should appear in Omega Sector. This subquest will give you the fan you need.
Head over to Omega Sector and talk to Kay. She will ask you for the following:
100 yellow propellors (Helly)
1 steel plate
Once thats done, go back to Kay, and she will give you the fan
Stay at Omega Sector and talk to the scientist Hairy Porter in the tower. He'll ask you to get a specific drop from Papulatus. This subquest will give you the battery you need.
Travel back to Ludi and kill Papulatus until he drops a Papulatus Certificate
Bring that certificate back to Hairy Porter. He will give you a battery.
Finally, go back to Hughes in Orbis tower and talk to him. He will give you a computer.
Use the computer, and Smokescreen should be in your skill list now
Assassinate:
To begin this quest this talk to your 3rd job instructor. The portal you need is to the left of Shawn.
Head over to the Perion Excavation Site and talk to Shane
Continue to talk to him to receive another quest. He will ask you to go to an arena. Talk to him again to enter.
Once inside, there are boxes you need to hit to warp to the next level. Only 1 person may enter the arena at a time, and you have 20 minutes to finish the quest.
Here's a picture guide for the boxes. Be careful, the golems inside the map will 1HKO you.

Talk to 4th job instructor to begin the quest. She will ask you to hunt for a brown glove.
Next head to Leafre
Go hunt Blue Kentaurs for the brown glove
Talk to Athena the complete the quest
Phoenix:
Begin the quest by talk to Kumo in Leafre. He'll ask you to find a Mysterious Egg.
Head to Cave of Trial 3 in El Nath and find for the mysterious egg in a hidden map.
Travel back to Leafre and talk to Kumo
Go to the top portal of Sky Nest 1 to enter the next quest map
Enter the specified portal. Drop the egg in a specified location at the top of the mountain. After you bow whack the egg, the Phoenix will be summoned. Kill it.
Once your done return to Kumo. He will give you the skillbook for Phoenix.
Bring the green book to Librarian Wiz in Korean Folk Town. He will ask you to collect the following:
50 ink (dark squid)
10 pure waters
30 magic rocks.
Bring back all of the collected items to Librarian Wiz. He will give you another Green Book.
Head over to Henesys and talk to Athena
Now travel to El Nath and talk to your 3rd job instructor
Talk to shammos, then talk to your third job instructor again
Travel to Sleepywood and talk to The Rememberer, and then then head to Sleepywood Dungeon and talk to "The Insignificant Being"
"The Insignificant Being" will asks you to collect 50 dark crystal balls (Cargo, Taurospear, Jr. Balrog)
Return back to "The Insignificant Being", and he will exchange your items for a key to enter an arena.
Talk to him once more, and choose to enter a special map.
Begin killing 300 monsters inside, you have about 20mins to complete this part (NOTE: You need 1 other person to enter this arena. That person must also be a 4th job archer).
Once your done, talk to the "Insignificant Being" again to complete the quest.
Marksman
Piercing Arrow:
Talk to 4th job instructor to begin the quest. She will ask you to hunt for a brown glove.

Head to Dangerous Cliff in El Nath and hunt for the mysterious egg in a hidden map
Travel back to Leafre and talk to Yaku
Go to the top portal of Sky Nest 1 to enter the quest map. Ascend the mountain and drop the egg in the specified location. Boow whack the egg. This will summon Frostprey. Kill it.
Once your done return to Yaku to complete the quest and obtain Frostprey.
Bring the green book to Librarian Uzu or Wiz in Korean Folk Town. He will ask you to collect the following:
